A Casa di Nani Overview
You know what? A Casa di Nani is one of those places that completely catches you off guard in the best possible way. I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a 3-star spot, but this little gem really delivers on charm and authenticity. The name literally means “The House of Nani” and there’s something so wonderfully intimate about that, like you’re staying at someone’s beloved family home rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel.
What really struck me was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about making your stay memorable. I mean, you can tell when people are just going through the motions versus when they actually want you to have a good time – and these folks are definitely the latter. The rooms have this cozy, lived-in feeling without being stuffy or outdated. Actually, there’s a nice balance between traditional Italian touches (think warm wood furniture and local artwork) and modern conveniences that actually work properly. The Wi-Fi was surprisingly solid, which honestly matters more than I’d like to admit when you’re trying to share photos or catch up on emails.
Here’s the thing though – and this might sound weird – but the place has this almost residential vibe that I found really refreshing. You’re not dealing with massive tour groups clogging up the lobby or fighting for elevator space. It’s more intimate, maybe a bit quieter than some travelers expect, but that’s exactly what made it special for me. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two there. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities or a rooftop infinity pool, but sometimes you just want a place that feels genuine and comfortable. The breakfast setup was simple but well-done – fresh pastries, decent coffee (which is saying something in Italy where coffee standards are ridiculously high), and they actually had some local specialties that changed daily. Small touches like that really add up. If you’re looking for something with personality over polish, somewhere that feels more like discovering a local secret than booking a standard hotel room, A Casa di Nani hits that sweet spot perfectly.
Hotels in Verona offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this medieval gem, with easy access to historic palazzos, charming piazzas, and renowned wine bars.

Gostamos muito da limpeza e organização da casa. O piso deixa tudo bem confortável. Também sentimos falta de sacos pro lixo. Mas em geral é tudo bem organizado.
What could be improved: As taxas… O preço anunciado aumentou em quase 1/3 na hora de fechar. Isso acabou prejudicando bastante nossa estadia. Faltou saco de lixo e o aquecimento oscila, deixando frio as vezes em alguns cômodos.Carine from France – 23 December 2024 (9/10)
Apartamento novinho, super limpo, igual as fotos!
What could be improved: O prédio fica numa esquina com muito movimento de carros, inclusive à noite.Λεων from Greece – 16 December 2024 (6/10)

Location next to the city center , quiet neighborhood, parking in front of the building. There is a private parking area too, but the host never answered to my message and call about the designated parking place for the apartment . Spacious apartment and clean. There is a lack of space in the bathroom for the amenities and also there are no hangers for the towels.
