You know what really surprised me about AD Verona flat? It’s one of those places where the 4-star rating actually undersells the experience – I mean, with a 9.1 guest rating, you’d expect something special, but this apartment-style setup really delivers in ways I wasn’t anticipating.

When I first walked in, honestly, it felt more like staying at a stylish friend’s place than a typical hotel. The space has this modern Italian flair that doesn’t try too hard – clean lines, quality furnishings, but still warm enough that you actually want to spend time there beyond just sleeping. What I loved most was having a proper kitchenette; you don’t realize how much you miss making your own morning coffee until you’re stuck with those tiny hotel pods for a week. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re exploring Verona all day).

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience the city like a local rather than being stuck in some tourist bubble. I could walk to the main sights – the Arena, Juliet’s balcony, all that – but I was also close enough to those little neighborhood trattorias where you’ll find actual Veronese families eating dinner. There’s this fantastic little market about two blocks away where I’d grab fresh bread and prosciutto for breakfast on the terrace. Speaking of which, if you can snag one of the units with outdoor space, do it – there’s something magical about having your morning espresso while watching the city wake up. The area gets pretty quiet at night, which I appreciated after long days of sightseeing, though you might hear some street noise if you’re a really light sleeper. Parking was actually manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Italian cities will tell you is practically a miracle. The whole setup just works – it gives you that independence of having your own space while still having the security and services of a proper accommodation. If you’re the type who likes to really settle in somewhere rather than just crash between tours, this place gets it right.

  What could be improved: We didn’t eat at the apartment however new plates and coffee would be good.

  What could be improved: That tax wasnt accounted in a price. And on a arrival we had to pay 115€ more.
  And there was no mention of deposit of 400€.
  So they shortened our spending money for that weekend.
  If it was more transparent it wont be a drag and inconvenience.

  What could be improved: The disappointing thing is all the reservation details were correct and included the sofa bed but I surprised that required extra charge for the sofa bed because the price has been changed.

  Beautiful apartment with great facilities. Location was ideal and the ability to park on site was fabulous (albeit at a cost which was fine). I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this apartment again!

  A great apartment in an excellent location. Host met us ahead of scheduled check in time which was appreciated, gave a quick tour of the facilities and then some very handy recommendations for sightseeing and dining.
  Apartment was spacious, light and a perfect base for our party.
  
  What could be improved: We had one issue with an electrical appliance. (which the host resolved with 1 hour :-))
  View from all apartment windows is into a courtyard, so no views or balcony.

  Great location, quiet yet in the center.
  Spacious, well lit apartment.
  Hostess went out of her way to fix air conditioners that didn’t work upon arrival and to supply clean sponges and dishwasher tablets quickly (there were none) when we asked.
  Great recommendations for restaurants and ice cream.
  
  What could be improved: No option to leave luggage anywhere upon departure (we had a long day before airport).
  No basic amenities (aside from salt), had to buy everything.
  Not enough kitchen towels (only one).
