Fresh pastries, proper coffee (not that bitter hotel lobby stuff), and they’ll actually make you eggs how you like them if you ask nicely. I spent most mornings chatting with Maria at reception – she’s been there for years and has this encyclopedic knowledge of the neighborhood that you just can’t get from Google Maps. She pointed me toward this tiny bakery around the corner that locals queue up at every morning, the kind of place you’d walk past without noticing otherwise. The location puts you within walking distance of most things you’d want to see, but it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your window. I could hear some street noise during the day, but it quieted down nicely in the evenings – nothing that kept me awake. Check-in was smooth, no hassles with early arrival, and they stored my luggage without any fuss when I needed to explore before my room was ready. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, but sometimes what you want is a place that feels genuine, where the 7.9 rating actually reflects solid, reliable hospitality rather than flashy amenities that break down after a week.

  The apartment was great. Nothing to complain about. Clean and comfy. Value for money.

  Muy buena localización, silencio para el descanso, todas las comodidades, toallas, sábanas, gel, desodorante, elementos de menaje en cocina (aunque no los usamos), buena temperatura, limpieza perfecta, calle muy segura. Sólo un inconveniente para las personas con movilidad reducida, está en un primero sin ascensor.

  What could be improved: No iron. Hardly any natural light. The lock box to collect the keys needs updating, it took us 10 minutes of jiggling to get it to work. The electrics are a mess. The bathroom door handle was broken. Mould in the bathroom. The portable air con unit is noisy and kept walking us up. The coating on most of the frypans is scratched. Overall a very underwhelming stay.

  It was close to the arena and city centre. It was quiet so that we could be undisturbed through our rest time. We had a kitchen with all needed for cooking.
  
  What could be improved: If you are looking to use Verona Porta Nova train station, it is quite far away, plan some 15-20min for a walk.
