Parking’s a godsend here too – they’ve got a secure spot right out front, which is rare in Verona where spots vanish faster than you can say “aperitivo.” It’s not perfect, mind you; the Wi-Fi can get spotty during peak hours if everyone’s streaming, and if you’re a light sleeper, the church bells from San Michele might jolt you awake around dawn. But those are minor quibbles – the neighborhood’s peacefulness makes up for it, especially in summer when the center turns into a sweaty mob scene.

All in all, if you’re after that authentic Verona vibe without the tourist trap feel, Alfredo’s is a gem.
