You know what really surprised me about Angy Maison? It’s one of those places that completely defies your expectations based on first impressions. I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a 3-star property, but man, was I wrong to judge too quickly. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not trying to be fancy or pretentious, but everything feels thoughtfully put together in a way that makes you relax instantly.

The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – I mean, the kind of place where you actually want to kick off your shoes and settle in rather than just crash for the night. What really got me was how quiet everything was, even though you’re not exactly in the middle of nowhere. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing too, which honestly isn’t always a given these days. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with fees or policies, and they had these little touches throughout that showed attention to detail. The whole place has this authentic, unpretentious vibe that’s becoming harder and harder to find.

Here’s the thing that really sealed it for me though – that 9.6 rating isn’t just inflated review bombing or anything like that. You can feel why people keep coming back and raving about this place. It’s got that perfect balance where you’re comfortable enough to actually enjoy your stay, but you’re not paying through the nose for a bunch of amenities you’ll never use. The beds are actually comfortable (seriously, I slept better than I do at home), and there’s something to be said for a place that just works without any drama. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels that cost twice as much and left me more frustrated than relaxed. This isn’t one of those places – it’s the kind of spot where you end up extending your stay if you can swing it, and you definitely bookmark it for next time you’re in the area. Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t need to shout about how great they are.

  This is a perfect place to stay for your trip to Verona! I spent 13 nights in this charming apartment and it had everything I needed. Great coffee shops nearby, a supermarket right across the street and the apartment was so cozy. The hosts have really thoughtfully and beautifully designed the apartment. It feels like you are right at home!

  Very clean and has any amenities you may need. Good location just a 10minute walk to the centre.

  This place is amazing. Angela and his husband picked up us from the train station and dropped us in front of the house. They welcomed us with smiles and a bottle of sparkling wine. The place is just few minutes walking from the city center. There is a supermarket just downstairs. We had such a pleasant stay. The air conditioner worked perfectly fine because outside was bloody hot. We would definitely come back.

  the apartment is ideally placed with only a short walk to the centre of town. it’s pristine having been newly refurbished and immaculately clean . And our owner was very helpful with communication and answered questions for our time there. I will definitely recommend to others that might arrive to Verona.
  
  What could be improved: very minor things really and only to be constructive as they did not have an impact on our stay. we could have had more coffee, shampoo etc for the 3 nights there. a hairdryer would be good and the bed against the wall can’t be changed but it’s a little awkward. but repeat it was a very good stay.

  Angela, the host, is very sweet and you feel like she wants her guests to feel welcome.
  Nice location and easy acces with car. parking spots on the streets and low cost.

  hosts picked us up from the airport which was great as they were able to show us the apartment and give us the keys. the apartment was compact but had everything we needed. the bed was super comfy. The shower was amzing. Overall it was a beautiful apartment. 10 minute walk into the centre
