Apartments City Center Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Apartments City Center, I wasn’t expecting much. You know how these generic-sounding places can be hit or miss, right? But walking into this 3-star spot completely changed my perspective. There’s something refreshingly straightforward about a place that doesn’t try to oversell itself with fancy names, and honestly, that’s exactly what you get here – no pretense, just solid comfort in the heart of everything.

What struck me immediately was how the staff actually seemed to care about getting the little things right. I mean, you can tell when a place has been run by people who understand what travelers need versus those just going through the motions. The apartment setup is genuinely practical – not just marketing speak. You’ve got proper kitchen space (with appliances that actually work, imagine that), and the living areas feel like someone thought about how real people move through a space. The Wi-Fi is reliable, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024, but we all know how often hotel internet lets you down. Here, I was video calling without those awkward frozen-face moments.

The location really is the star though – and I don’t mean that in the generic “convenient location” way that every hotel claims. You’re actually in the thick of things, which means you can walk to most places you’d want to go, but it also means there’s street life happening right outside. If you’re a light sleeper, pack earplugs or request a higher floor, because the city doesn’t really quiet down until late. That said, there’s something energizing about being so connected to the pulse of the place. I found myself grabbing coffee from three different local spots within a two-minute walk, and each had its own character and regulars. The evening crowd tends to be a mix of business travelers and people like me who just wanted to be where things were happening without paying resort prices. With an 8.9 rating, I wasn’t the only one who felt like this place gets the balance right between comfort, location, and value. Sometimes you don’t need marble lobbies and concierge services – sometimes you just need a place that works well and puts you exactly where you want to be.

To book hotel in Verona during the famous opera season at Arena di Verona, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts romance seekers and culture enthusiasts from around the world.

Reviews of Apartments City Center

  • Magnus from Iceland – 15 August 2024 (9/10)

Great location, short distance from almost every attraction in Verona. Large store just few meters away from the apartment.

What could be improved: Sleeping sofa could be better for larger kids.

  • Margaret from United States – 1 July 2024 (9/10)

Great location on pedestrian street. Lots of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store nearby. Bus stops very close for getting to train station and elsewhere. Good amenities: dishes, coffee/tea supplies, tv. Large bathroom. Privacy. Smooth check in and out. Air conditioner worked. Responsive host via WhatsApp.

What could be improved: Very limited supply of hot water. Need more instructions about how things work (water, air conditioner). Needs a little more lighting. I thought the bed was ok, but others may not realize that it’s a sofa bed.

  • Bella from Israel – 24 September 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: Impersonal relationship and only online with the owner..

Shampoo and conditioner were missing in the shower, and there was no place to put the vials.😉

  • Slawomir from Poland – 14 September 2023 (9/10)

Perfect location in the center of Verona, for exploration of the city and for short stay if you want to go to Opera. Close to several restaurants serving breakfast, dinners and you feel life around you. What is also in plus two small balconys in the apartment one for Juliet and one for Romeo 😉 – seriously ;-).

What could be improved: Supervision of cleaning service – curtains and table were dusted and for my family who was dust allergic they were sneezing for some time = we had to ventilate the apartment for a longer while. Also the splashing mechanism in WC requires checking as you need to push the button and hold for a few seconds to proper splashing you know what 😉

  • Gayle from United States – 4 September 2023 (9/10)

    Location and lovely balconies

What could be improved: Shower is much too small

  • Yana – 9 August 2023 (8/10)

Located a few minutes away from Scaliger bridge and Arena from the other side. Bus station is near Arena. Nice appartment.a folding bad. Clean, You have all kitchen staff .

What could be improved: Lightining in the room….looks fancy but not practical at all.was using a smartphone torch to find something in the bag at evenings…

  • Giannis from Greece – 22 August 2022 (9/10)

Very comfortable, cozy and well-equipped apartment. Central and great location.

    What could be improved: Nothing!

  • Breithaupt from United States – 3 July 2022 (8/10)

    location was fantastic! good size

What could be improved: For two couples, the sofa bed is small and in the public living room and you have to walk through the one bedroom to get to the only bathroom which in the middle of the night is very inconvenient. perfect for one couple or a couple with an older child.

  • Fukas from Czech Republic – 8 May 2022 (9/10)

The premises were wery comfortable, the location is perfect for walking around the city and be able to get back on foot, it was very clean, the staff very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay her if we ever return to Verona 💐☺️
