Appartamenti Museo Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Appartamenti Museo? The name makes it sound like some stuffy place next to a dusty gallery, but honestly, it’s way more charming than that. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star property so don’t expect marble lobbies or concierge service, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the whole setup that had me recommending it to friends before I’d even unpacked.
The apartment-style rooms are what really make this place work – and I’m talking actual apartments here, not those cramped hotel suites where you can barely turn around. You get proper kitchen space (the kind where you can actually cook something more elaborate than instant noodles), and the living areas feel lived-in rather than sterile. The 8.5 rating they’ve got makes total sense once you settle in for a night or two. What I loved most was having that extra space to spread out, especially after spending days wandering around. There’s something about being able to make your own coffee in the morning instead of hunting down the nearest café that just… well, it changes the whole travel rhythm, you know?
The location is actually pretty smart – you’re tucked away enough to avoid the constant tourist noise, but close enough that you’re not spending half your budget on taxis. I found myself walking to most places I wanted to go, and honestly, discovering those little side streets you stumble across when you’re not rushing between hotel and attractions was half the fun. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too (none of that endless paperwork some places put you through), and the staff actually seemed to care about whether you found everything okay. Look, it’s not going to win any luxury awards, but if you want a place that feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in some corporate hotel chain, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Reviews of Appartamenti Museo

Close to the city centre. Good communication with the responsible people. Clean and prepared (we only spent one night). Plenty of towels. In general, we had all we needed.
What could be improved: The courtyard behind the main entrance gate is a bit messy. Only instant coffee in the kitchen.Anastas from Bulgaria – 8 October 2024 (9/10)

The apartment is a studio so just what you need for a short stop over in Verona. The host was lovely, he showed us the apartment and the keys to gates and doors. Also provided a detailed map and marked some great areas to go for sights and eating.
What could be improved: There was no washing cloth as we brought food back, so i could not wash up. Other than that one item all was good.Kym from Australia – 20 August 2024 (7/10)
Location was fantastic
What could be improved: No air conditioning or fan in master room – too noisy to open window.Monica from Romania – 21 July 2024 (9/10)

Evgenii from Slovenia – 15 July 2024 (9/10)

Location was really good, walking distance to every place in Verona. Very quiet and felt very safe. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. AC was working properly which was a plus considering the hot days in Verona. We arrived earlier then the official check in hour but the host allowed us to leave our luggage and collect the keys, it was really helpful so we could walk around comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!
