The building itself has that classic Italian apartment feel – you know, the kind where the stairs creak just a little and the walls are thick enough that you actually get some peace and quiet. I stayed there during opera season (which, let me tell you, is when this whole area comes alive), and while I could sense the excitement in the streets, I never had trouble sleeping.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was set up inside. The cream theme isn’t just in the name – it runs through the whole space in this really calming way that makes you want to just settle in and stay awhile. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab some ingredients from the local markets and cook something up, which I definitely recommend doing at least once. There’s something satisfying about making coffee in the morning and planning your day from a real apartment rather than a hotel room. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, and honestly, the shower pressure was better than I expected – you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in older Italian buildings. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area (it’s Italy, after all), but the host gave me some solid tips about where to find spots that actually worked. Check-in was smooth – no weird key-passing ceremonies or confusing instructions, just straightforward and friendly. I’d say this place works best if you’re someone who appreciates being in a real neighborhood setting rather than a touristy bubble, and if you don’t mind walking a bit to explore different parts of the city.

  La disponibilité de l’hôte et son attention à ce que notre séjour se déroule bien. L’appartement est calme, grand et idéalement situé par rapport à la gare d’où arrive/part le bus pour l’aéroport ainsi que le train régional qui va au très joli Lac de Garde. A quelques pas il y a aussi un grand supermarché bien achalandé de produits locaux (charcuterie, fromage…) et a des prix vraiment raisonnables.
  
  What could be improved: Le manque de torchons et produits ménagers pour le nettoyage quotidien et maintenir l appartement en ordre mais l’hôte, très réactif, a assuré qu’il y remédierait rapidement.
