This place completely changed my perspective on four-star accommodations. There’s something refreshingly authentic about staying somewhere that feels more like borrowing a friend’s gorgeous apartment than checking into a sterile hotel room.

What really struck me was how thoughtfully everything’s been put together. I mean, you can tell someone actually lives this way – the kitchen has proper coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones), there’s decent lighting for reading, and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently throughout the space. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you’re there because it’s those small details that add up. The shower has excellent water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me, and there’s enough closet space that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase.

You know what I appreciate most though? The authentic neighborhood feel you get here. Unlike those big chain hotels where you’re sort of isolated from real local life, staying at Appartamento Leone puts you right in the mix of things. I found myself grocery shopping at the local markets, grabbing morning coffee where the regulars go – that kind of experience you just can’t manufacture. The check-in process was surprisingly smooth too, none of that awkward key-exchange confusion you sometimes get with apartment rentals. And parking – well, let’s just say it’s not the nightmare I was expecting, which in itself feels like a small miracle. The place does get a bit of street noise in the evenings, but honestly it’s more of that pleasant urban hum than anything disruptive. I actually found it kind of charming after a day or two.

  Everything was very good. The apartments contain everything you need for a short stay. Free underground parking is available. Public transport stop is a 3-minute walk away. The historical part of the city is a 15-minute walk.
