Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard the name appartamento super centrale, I thought it was maybe a bit too on-the-nose, you know? But after staying there, I actually get why they went with something so straightforward. Sometimes the simplest description is the most accurate one.

The place really lives up to its “super central” promise in a way that genuinely surprised me. I mean, you step out the door and you’re literally in the middle of everything – not that tourist-trap kind of central where you’re paying extra to be surrounded by overpriced cafes, but actually central where locals are going about their daily business. The morning sounds are this perfect mix of espresso machines firing up, delivery scooters zipping by, and that general hum of a neighborhood that’s alive but not chaotic. I found myself getting up earlier than usual just to grab a coffee from the little place around the corner (the owner there makes this incredible cornetto that’s still warm at 7 AM).

What struck me most was how the apartment manages to feel like a genuine local experience while still hitting that sweet spot of comfort you want when you’re traveling. The setup is pretty straightforward – nothing fancy, but everything works the way it should. The shower has proper pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think), the wifi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and there’s actual counter space in the kitchen if you want to pick up some groceries and eat in. The bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with it all night, and honestly, for a 3-star place, that’s sometimes all you can ask for. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does well.

I think what I appreciated most was how the location lets you actually live somewhere for a few days instead of just visiting it. You start recognizing faces at the market, you figure out which gelato place has the shortest line in the evening, you discover that little shortcut through the side streets that saves you five minutes. The neighborhood has this authentic energy that you can’t really manufacture – people hanging laundry from their windows, kids playing soccer in the small piazzas, that kind of thing. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise, but it’s the good kind of noise that makes you feel connected to the place rather than isolated from it. And parking? Well, you probably don’t want to drive here anyway, but if you do, there are options within walking distance that won’t completely destroy your budget.

  Excellent location in terms of access to the old town centre, with a very good Spar store for provisions just across the street.
  The apartment comfortably accommodates 2 couples with sufficient facilities to meet all your needs.

  Spacious apartment close to the city center, food stores, not far from the railway station. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Very nice outdoor terrace.
  
  What could be improved: When we arrived, the heating system was broken. However, the host fixed this next morning. There is no elevator in a house, not comfortable if you have strolls or heavy luggage.

  The location was very good. The big terrace was nice, but unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was cold.
  
  What could be improved: The heating was turned off and since it was cold outside, the room was also relatively cool. Could there be some alternative radiators for this occasion? There is a nightclub / bar behind the wall, you have to take that into account. The apartment was spread over two floors, in this regard you have to take into account that there is quite a lot of movement from the stairs, as the kitchen is on the second floor. Check-in was all done virtually.

  The location was excellent. Very close to the historical old part of the city, and with great access to supermarkets and restaurants. The keyless entry system worked very well. The ability to wash clothes in the apartment was appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: The bed in the bedroom lacks any firmness… it sinks a lot when you lie down; I was a little concerned about lower back issues, but I did sleep very well anyway!
  There was significant construction right next door, which I was unaware of in advance; I was there on business and working from the apartment, so I found the constant noise during the working day a little annoying.
