But you know what really caught my attention was that 9.4 rating, which is honestly impressive for any accommodation, let alone a 3-star apartment rental. After staying there myself, I totally get why guests keep raving about this place.

The thing that strikes you immediately is how this apartment feels like you’re actually living somewhere rather than just passing through. Via Valverde is one of those streets that gives you a genuine taste of local life – you’ll hear the morning chatter from the café downstairs, catch the aroma of fresh bread from the bakery around the corner, and actually see residents going about their daily routines instead of just endless streams of tourists with rolling suitcases. The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. I mean, the furnishings aren’t trying to be Instagram-perfect, but everything works exactly as it should, and there’s something refreshing about having a proper kitchen where you can make your morning coffee the way you like it. The bathroom actually has decent water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think), and the beds are comfortable enough that you won’t spend your vacation nursing a sore back.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the attention to practical details that only matter when you’re actually staying somewhere. The WiFi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every few hours, there are enough outlets near the bed for your devices, and – this might sound small but it’s huge – the neighbors are generally quiet, so you can actually sleep without earplugs. The building itself has that solid, well-maintained feel that suggests the owner actually cares about the property rather than just seeing it as a quick money grab. I noticed little touches like proper blackout curtains and a decent shower setup that shows someone thought about what travelers actually need. The location puts you close enough to the action that you can walk to most places you’d want to go, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you get a break from the constant hustle. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – no standing around waiting for someone to show up with keys, which honestly happens more often than it should with apartment rentals. For the price point and that stellar rating, this place delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

  The apartment was very spacious, extra clean and well furnished.

  It was a modern apartment inside an old building. Fabulous kitachen, comfortable bed. Wonderful big ensuite. it was just down the road from the Verona Arena and many restaurants, as well as a mini train that took you around the city.

  The location of this unit is ideal for walking to the main square and the Arena. It was wonderful to return to this AC unit midday to cool off and then return to the square. The comforts of having a small kitchen, washing machine & dryer, and a refreshing bathroom made this unit exceptional!

  The appartment is at excellent location, few steps away from Arena and the famouse clock at the historic city entrance. Although it is a ground floor apartment in the city center, it was very spacious, newly equipped & decorated. There was all the furniture you need for your stay even if you like to prepare and cook 1 meal at home like we do, nice wooden floor, very very comfortable bed (although Paola prepared us sofa bed in the living room, all 3 of us was comfortable to sleep in our bed, my husband, I and our 5 year old) and nice kitchen. My fav was the spacious, clean and nice bathroom. The owner Paola really thought about all needed details so you can see that it has all the little things you'll need to make your self comfortable and like at home. If we come back (and we definitely will) this is where we are staying.
