I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Arena Artist, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a 3-star place, but this little gem actually surprised me in the best way possible. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it that I really appreciated. You know how some hotels try too hard to be fancy? This isn’t one of those places. Instead, it has this authentic, slightly bohemian vibe that feels… well, genuinely artistic without being pretentious about it.

The lobby caught my attention right away – not because it’s flashy, but because someone clearly put thought into the details. Local artwork on the walls (and I mean actual local pieces, not generic hotel prints), interesting lighting that creates these nice warm corners where you actually want to sit with a coffee. The staff seemed to know their regulars by name, which always tells me something good about a place. Check-in was smooth, no unnecessary upselling or corporate script reading. I mean, sometimes the simple things matter most, right?

What really won me over though was how the place feels during different parts of the day. Mornings are pretty quiet – you can actually think while having breakfast without fighting through crowds of tour groups. But evenings? That’s when the personality really comes out. The common areas get this nice buzz going, nothing too loud or chaotic, just that comfortable hum of people who seem genuinely happy to be there. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable – not luxury by any means, but everything works properly and the beds are actually decent (trust me, I’m picky about mattresses). The 7.9 rating makes perfect sense to me because honestly, this isn’t trying to be a five-star experience, and that’s exactly why it works. Sometimes you just want a place that feels real, where you can relax without worrying about whether you’re dressed appropriately for the elevator. If you’re looking for something authentic without breaking the bank, Arena Artist hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  We felt like in a home of an artist. Very comfortable room, furnished in an eclectic and pleasing style, where small details – like crystal vase, or small tasteful ornament, creates a feeling that you are at home. The hostess is very kind and accommodating, the coffee machine in the room makes an excellent coffee. The room and the bathroom are very clean and pleasant. Thanks to the owner we had a very pleasant stay. It is very close to the centre and also close to the railway station on a small quiet street.
