Arena-Center Luxury Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Arena-Center Luxury Apartment on Via San Nicolò, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Verona. This four-star property sits right in the historical center, and I mean right in the thick of things — you’re literally steps away from the Arena and all those winding cobblestone streets that make Verona so enchanting. The building itself has that classic Italian charm, but what really struck me was how quiet it felt despite being so central.
The Perfect Location
Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable — couples especially seem to get this, rating it a perfect 10 for romantic getaways. You can walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes, and the Arena di Verona is practically your neighbor. What I love is that you’re close enough to hear the buzz of Piazza Bra, but Via San Nicolò itself is tucked away enough that you won’t have crowds of tourists walking past your window at all hours. The morning walk to grab coffee and pastries becomes part of the experience, you know?
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel room. There’s actually a proper kitchen setup, which is fantastic if you want to grab some fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something simple. The space has been thoughtfully designed — modern amenities without losing that Italian residential feel. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings and how everything felt genuinely comfortable rather than just stylish for photos.
Neighborhood Life
What really makes this place work is how it drops you into actual Veronese life. The street has that authentic neighborhood vibe where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning and families out for evening strolls. There’s a great little restaurant just around the corner that most tourists never find, and the nearby shops feel genuine rather than touristy. You’re close enough to everything major that you never need to think about transportation, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you get some breathing room.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.7 rating really reflects what you experience here — it’s that sweet spot where location, comfort, and value align perfectly. The parking situation is actually manageable if you’re driving, which isn’t always the case in Verona’s historic center. But honestly, most guests end up loving how walkable everything becomes from this spot. You wake up in the morning and step outside to find yourself in one of Italy’s most romantic cities, with the Arena right there and all those charming streets spreading out in every direction. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Verona rather than just visiting it.
Best hotels in Verona range from luxurious properties in the historic city center to boutique hotels with stunning views of the Adige River and ancient Roman amphitheater.

Nice property, very central, all around, easy for sightseeing. Lots of restaurants around. Lovely quiet.
What could be improved: A bit smelly in the building. No shower gel and no shampoo.Hon23 from Australia – 3 September 2024 (9/10)
Location was excellent. Clean apartment

The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of the historic centre of Verona, just behind the Arena and just off the Piazza Bra. Communication with the hosts was very good before and during our stay. The check in process was easy to follow and the apartment was very clean and tidy. It is very big and well furnished with everything you need. Water in the fridge for when we arrived was very welcome. There were also some food supplies in the cupboards such as tea, coffee and sugar. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. The air conditioning worked well to keep us cool. We really enjoyed staying here, it was good value for money and I would highly recommend it. Just a shame we were only staying for 2 nights. Grazie mille!
What could be improved: The only things that would improve this apartment would be an extra chair for the dining table (there were 5 of us) and more light in the shower cubicle.Andrea from Australia – 9 July 2024 (7/10)
The location was excellent and equipped with washing machine and dryer. A second set of keys would be useful.
What could be improved: We were a group of two couples and booked the apartment as it had two bedrooms (also said it had a foldout couch). The reality is that there is only one bedroom and a foldout couch in the lounge/dining and another foldout couch in the entry hall. So we had a choice. No privacy or no lounge area. Unfair on the couple who had to stay on the uncomfortable fold out couch for three nights and it was uncomfortable.Andrii from Ukraine – 11 February 2024 (9/10)
Amazing apartment in the historical city center. Clean, comfortable, best recommendation

Nice location, close to center and to parking.

The location was fantastic! The host was quick to respond. It was clean.
What could be improved: The pictures were way were nicer than reality. It was rather dark with poor lighting and random furniture.. The kitchen had no coffee, but had packets of olive oil, salt, sugar, etc. There was an awful smell when you walked in like old boiled broccoli. The hot water tank was set to 19 degrees meaning not nearly enough hot water even for 1 shower. We were given a video on how to turn it up, which was confusing and took an hour to heat up. Our family of 5 had just returned from Gardaland and we were very hot and sweaty. It was ridiculous to deal with this. The video scavenger hunt to get the keys was strange. Glad we had a local sim card! If you didn't have access, this would be nearly impossible.
We were disappointed with this listing.Andreas from Germany – 13 April 2023 (7/10)
perfect location.
large flat.
What could be improved: do not try to park your car in the advertised space – unless it is very small. communication should be made clearer. without the help of hotel owner next door it would have ended up in disaster.
check in process somewhat bumpy. why not simply meet with the customer in person? no time? then step back from the hotel biz! watching 4 videos to get into the flat is annoying.
