Arena d’Intorno Overview
You know what really struck me about Arena d’Intorno? It’s one of those places that completely defies what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. I mean, when I first walked into the lobby, I actually had to double-check my booking because everything felt so much more upscale than the star rating suggested.
The thing is, this isn’t your typical cookie-cutter hotel experience. The staff here – and I’m talking about everyone from the front desk to housekeeping – they genuinely seem to care about getting the details right. My room was spotless (I’m talking about those little corners where dust usually hides), and honestly, the bed was one of those perfect firmness situations where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with your mattress all night. The bathroom had this really nice rainfall showerhead that actually had decent water pressure, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given in smaller hotels. What really got my attention though was the soundproofing. I was expecting typical hotel noise bleeding through walls, but the place stays surprisingly quiet even when it’s busy.
Here’s the thing that really sets Arena d’Intorno apart: the attention to those small touches that most places completely overlook. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (I tested it in the elevator – don’t ask why), there are enough outlets in the room that you’re not playing musical chairs with your chargers, and the air conditioning responds pretty quickly when you adjust it. I noticed they keep the common areas at just the right temperature too – not that arctic blast you get in some hotels. The breakfast setup is simple but well-executed, with fresh coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting there since dawn. Parking was straightforward without any of that cramped maneuvering you sometimes deal with. Check-in was smooth – no lengthy waits or complicated procedures, just efficient and friendly. What really impressed me was how clean everything stayed throughout my visit. You can tell they take maintenance seriously here, from the well-lit hallways to the spotless elevator. That 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not about fancy amenities or marble lobbies, it’s about doing the fundamentals really, really well and making sure guests feel comfortable rather than just accommodated.

Everything was good except for the bleach cleaning. The smell of bleach was very intense in all the rooms.
