Arena living Verona – next to Arena Overview
Honestly, when I first walked up to Arena living Verona – next to Arena, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name pretty much tells you everything, but also nothing at the same time, you know? But then you turn the corner and there it is, literally a stone’s throw from the ancient Roman amphitheater, and suddenly it all clicks. I mean, you can actually hear the sound checks from opera performances drifting through your window if you’re lucky enough to visit during the summer festival season.
The location is just ridiculous – in the best possible way. You’re basically in the heart of Verona, where tourists are wandering around with their necks craned up at Juliet’s balcony and street performers are doing their thing in Piazza Bra. But here’s what I really appreciated: despite being right in the thick of things, the hotel itself feels like a proper retreat. The rooms are modern without being sterile, and they’ve got this whole apartment-style setup that makes you feel less like you’re staying in a typical hotel room. You get a kitchenette, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in the touristy center gets expensive fast. The staff actually seems to care – not in that overly rehearsed way, but like they genuinely want you to have a good time in their city.
What really won me over though was the little details. The Wi-Fi actually works (revolutionary, I know), the shower pressure is fantastic, and – this might sound weird – but the windows are properly soundproofed. Because while being next to the Arena is amazing, it also means you’re in one of the busiest parts of the city. During the day you’ve got tour groups and the evening brings opera crowds, but once you close those windows, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The 9.6 rating makes total sense when you experience it firsthand. Sure, you’re paying a bit more for the location, but when you can literally walk out your front door and be at one of Italy’s most famous landmarks in about thirty seconds, it’s worth every euro. Plus, you’re walking distance from Via Mazzini for shopping and all those little wine bars tucked into the side streets where locals actually go. I ended up extending my stay an extra night just because leaving felt premature – and trust me, that’s not something I do lightly.

We loved everything about the property. Firstly the location was fantastic , just a couple of minutes walk from Piazza Bra and really close to all the sights, shops and restaurants. Super secure.
The apartment is very comfortable, clean and is equipped with just about anything you could want during your stay. We loved everything about it. The owners arranged a bag drop for us on arrival as we were early which was great. They were easily contactable at any time.
If we come back to beautiful Verona again, and I believe we will, we would try to stay here. Great stay, we loved it! Highly Recommend!!

A super location in the historic center of Verona to discover everything on foot. A nice 24 minute walk from Central Station to the apartment. When you walk in, it's a wow effect you get. Very spacious, cozy and luxurious. The instructions you get from the owner to get in the apartment are excellent. He is also very concerned about whether everything is going well and he is always available. We had a magical stay and will definitely be back. Thank you very much Michael 🙏

Brand new and cozy, this one bedroom apartment has all you need for an extended stay. The kitchen is well appointed and easy to navigate. The foyer and living area are spacious, and the bedroom inviting. The bathroom has ample storage with a walk in shower.
What could be improved: The air conditioning unit is located in the living area, which did not really serve the bedroom very well. However, there is a ceiling fan which was an excellent way to help circulate the air.Dawn from United States – 30 August 2024 (8/10)
Very clean, up to date and comfortable. And in a great location
What could be improved: A few little extras (shelf stable snacks) would have been nice since we came straight from the airport after a long flight. On site parking would’ve also been great.Marieke from Netherlands – 22 August 2024 (8/10)
Brand new and very thoughtful decorated
What could be improved: Sleep couch was awful and city tax a hassleNabilah from Saudi Arabia – 23 July 2024 (10/10)
I liked how wide the flat was and how it felt very homy and the flat was very clean and calm, the location was probably the best part with everything near by, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The host was very kind and reachable.
