– ARENA – Panoramic VIEW – Central Apartment Overview
You know what hit me first when I walked into ARENA – Panoramic VIEW – Central Apartment? The view – and I mean, they weren’t kidding about that “panoramic” part. The windows basically frame the entire cityscape, and honestly, I found myself just standing there for a good ten minutes taking it all in. It’s one of those places where you immediately understand why someone gave it a 9.7 rating, because the vista alone is worth half your stay.
The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there – not in a messy way, but in that comfortable, thought-out way where everything makes sense. The kitchen has proper coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones), there’s decent lighting for reading, and the shower pressure is actually impressive. I mean, you’d be surprised how many places mess up the basics, but this one gets it right. The location puts you right in the thick of things without the street noise keeping you up at night, which is honestly the sweet spot you’re looking for in any city stay. I could walk to most of the main attractions, but more importantly, I stumbled onto this little bakery two blocks over that clearly only locals knew about – sometimes the best part of staying somewhere central is discovering those hidden gems by accident.
What really sold me on this place, though, was how it strikes that perfect balance between being in the action but still feeling like a proper retreat. The panoramic windows work both ways – you get to watch the city come alive in the morning with your coffee, but when you want to decompress after a long day of sightseeing, it’s quiet enough to actually relax. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but everything works exactly as it should, and the attention to detail shows. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the Wi-Fi was actually fast enough for video calls, which saved me when I had to jump on a work meeting mid-vacation. Sometimes it’s those practical touches that make or break a stay, you know?
Hotels near me in Verona offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Juliet’s Balcony, Piazza delle Erbe, and authentic Italian trattorias.

Matteo is a very good host and very attentive to details. He's always there to answer queries and concerns. The flat is immaculately clean, and the view from the balcony is spectacular. Cozy, spacious, and beautiful. The location is very quiet, which is ideal after a long day out.Highly recommended to stay there.
What could be improved: The shower area is a bit small but the bathroom is very cleanAi from United States – 3 July 2024 (10/10)
Owner is very kind, nice and quick responding! Everywhere so close, walk distance! Even though we went to Night Opera, on our way back to the place was very safe.
Around the place has many restaurants and grocery stores.
Close to the station just 5-10min walk.
Room is very clean and beds are comfortable!

The apartment is located halfway between the central station and the inner city. Several grocery shops are close by, as well as the local ticket office and a post office.
The apartment is nicely furnished and has some kitchen equipment as well as dishes and cutlery for up to four people.
The host speaks German, which was a pleasant surprise.
I had booked the apartment for ca. 10 days. Upon my request, the host offered to clean the apartment free of charge after half of my stay, and also provided fresh bed sheets and towels.
The apartment has two small balconies with a view of the city. They are just big enough for one person to sit comfortably.
The bedroom and the living room both have smart TVs including a Netflix account.
All appliances were mostly easy to use. The stove is induction, the apartment included a QR code to the manual for this one. The washing machine worked fine after I had figured out that I needed to switch on the power for that separately.
What could be improved: Some nit-picky things:
I missed a vacuum cleaner so I could clean the apartment myself.
Also, some additional kitchen ware would be nice. For example, the frying pan is quite small.
The trash can be separated into carton, non-recyclable and plastic. It would be nice to also have a separate container for compost, as the big trash containers on the plaza (where you can bring the trash once it is full) also include a separate container for compost. Also not sure how much sense it makes to have the carton bin lined with a plastic bag?
The keys to the building and the apartment are online apps, which I found not so practical. I was always worried that my phone would have enough battery left and also it often took more than one try to get in. I would have preferred a normal key without electricity. (They do offer a normal key, but only for part of the locks.)
The shower is on the smaller side.Andresa from South Africa – 16 August 2023 (10/10)

What could be improved: no negative remarksEirini from Greece – 1 August 2023 (10/10)
Very nice apartment and great location. Very helpful and easy to talk to host. Parking was hassle free! Great views from the balconies.
What could be improved: Great stay overall and i would definitely go again. A few notes: The bathroom can be improved (water pressure and water temperature). Although a quite like technology the electronic locks and the online check in process only added pressure to our already packed schedule. Some noise from the upper floor etc but it did not really bother us and there is not much one can do about it.
