– ARENA – Panoramic VIEW – Central Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Walking into – ARENA – Panoramic VIEW – Central Apartment honestly feels like discovering a secret that locals have been keeping to themselves. This four-star property sits right on Piazza Renato Simoni, and I mean right in the thick of things — you’re literally in Verona‘s historical heart. The moment you step inside, you get why this place scores a 9.7 with guests. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but there’s something genuinely special about how it captures that authentic Veronese charm while giving you all the modern comforts you actually want.

Location That Actually Matters

You know what’s rare? Finding a place where the location isn’t just “convenient” but actually enhances your entire experience. From this apartment, you can walk to the Arena di Verona in maybe three minutes — and I’m talking a leisurely stroll, not a power walk. The couples who stay here consistently rate the location a perfect 10, and honestly, I get it. You’re surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets that feel like stepping back in time, but you’re also close enough to grab an espresso or aperitivo without planning your entire day around it. The property’s location score of 9.3 isn’t just a number — it reflects how perfectly positioned you are to experience Verona like someone who actually lives here.

The Space Itself

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to create a room that feels both historic and completely livable. The panoramic views they promise? They actually deliver, and not in that “if you crane your neck and squint” way that some places do. The space has character — I’m talking original architectural details that remind you you’re in a city that’s been around for centuries — but they haven’t sacrificed functionality for charm. The kitchen is properly equipped if you want to grab ingredients from the local market and cook something simple, though honestly, with Verona’s food scene right outside your door, you might not use it much.

The Verona Experience

Here’s what I really appreciate about staying here — you’re not just visiting Verona, you’re actually living in it for a few days. The historical center location means you’re walking the same streets that have been here for literally centuries, but you’re also perfectly positioned for modern Verona life. Want to catch an opera at the Arena? It’s right there. Feel like wandering through the markets or finding that perfect little restaurant that doesn’t cater to tourists? You’re in the right neighborhood. The building itself has that solid, authentic feel that reminds you this isn’t some generic hotel experience — you’re staying somewhere with real history and character.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.7 rating tells the real story here, but what strikes me most is how this place manages to feel both special and comfortable. It’s not trying to impress you with unnecessary amenities or over-the-top service — instead, it focuses on giving you an authentic base in one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. The panoramic views, the unbeatable location, and that sense of actually living in Verona rather than just passing through — that’s what keeps people coming back and rating their experience so highly. Sometimes the best places are the ones that just get the fundamentals absolutely right.

Hotels near me in Verona offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Juliet’s Balcony, Piazza delle Erbe, and authentic Italian trattorias.

A great, clean apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect location and amazing balcony views.

  • Liam from United Kingdom – 13 August 2024 (10/10)

Great location, great view, great facilities

  • Yeng from Hong Kong – 30 July 2024 (9/10)

Matteo is a very good host and very attentive to details. He's always there to answer queries and concerns. The flat is immaculately clean, and the view from the balcony is spectacular. Cozy, spacious, and beautiful. The location is very quiet, which is ideal after a long day out.Highly recommended to stay there.

What could be improved: The shower area is a bit small but the bathroom is very clean

  • Ai from United States – 3 July 2024 (10/10)

Owner is very kind, nice and quick responding! Everywhere so close, walk distance! Even though we went to Night Opera, on our way back to the place was very safe.
Around the place has many restaurants and grocery stores.
Close to the station just 5-10min walk.
Room is very clean and beds are comfortable!

    What could be improved: None

  • Vassil from Bulgaria – 3 June 2024 (10/10)

Very convenient location. The apartment is spacious and bright. Very clean and has everything one might need.

  • Antonia from Germany – 24 May 2024 (10/10)

The apartment is located halfway between the central station and the inner city. Several grocery shops are close by, as well as the local ticket office and a post office.

The apartment is nicely furnished and has some kitchen equipment as well as dishes and cutlery for up to four people.

The host speaks German, which was a pleasant surprise.

I had booked the apartment for ca. 10 days. Upon my request, the host offered to clean the apartment free of charge after half of my stay, and also provided fresh bed sheets and towels.

The apartment has two small balconies with a view of the city. They are just big enough for one person to sit comfortably.

The bedroom and the living room both have smart TVs including a Netflix account.

All appliances were mostly easy to use. The stove is induction, the apartment included a QR code to the manual for this one. The washing machine worked fine after I had figured out that I needed to switch on the power for that separately.

What could be improved: Some nit-picky things:

I missed a vacuum cleaner so I could clean the apartment myself.

Also, some additional kitchen ware would be nice. For example, the frying pan is quite small.

The trash can be separated into carton, non-recyclable and plastic. It would be nice to also have a separate container for compost, as the big trash containers on the plaza (where you can bring the trash once it is full) also include a separate container for compost. Also not sure how much sense it makes to have the carton bin lined with a plastic bag?

The keys to the building and the apartment are online apps, which I found not so practical. I was always worried that my phone would have enough battery left and also it often took more than one try to get in. I would have preferred a normal key without electricity. (They do offer a normal key, but only for part of the locks.)

The shower is on the smaller side.

  • Andresa from South Africa – 16 August 2023 (10/10)

Modern, spacious, well equipped ,exceptional care to small detail by host, super clean…. Superb

What could be improved: Easy to find and get access
    Nearby trainstation and old city
    Safe area

  • Georg from Austria – 14 August 2023 (10/10)

Perfect for a trip to Verona, super close to the center, nice appartment.

  • Milan from Serbia – 10 August 2023 (10/10)

    Excellent place on excellent location!

What could be improved: no negative remarks

  • Eirini from Greece – 1 August 2023 (10/10)

Very nice apartment and great location. Very helpful and easy to talk to host. Parking was hassle free! Great views from the balconies.

What could be improved: Great stay overall and i would definitely go again. A few notes: The bathroom can be improved (water pressure and water temperature). Although a quite like technology the electronic locks and the online check in process only added pressure to our already packed schedule. Some noise from the upper floor etc but it did not really bother us and there is not much one can do about it.
