I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Arena Suite, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star place, but this hotel completely changed my perspective on what mid-tier accommodations can actually deliver. The lobby hits you with this warm, contemporary vibe that feels curated without being pretentious, and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive (which, you know, isn’t always a given these days).

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything’s been designed. The suites – and they really are proper suites, not just oversized rooms with a sitting area thrown in – have this perfect balance of space and coziness. The kitchenette actually has decent-quality appliances, not those sad mini-fridges that barely keep your leftovers cold. I mean, I ended up making coffee there every morning instead of venturing out, which says something about both the setup and my laziness, honestly. The beds are that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed whole, and they’ve got blackout curtains that actually work – crucial if you’re trying to sleep off jet lag or just want to have a proper lie-in.

The service is where this place really shines though. There’s this effortless professionalism that makes you feel looked after without being hovered over. When I mentioned I was having trouble with the air conditioning remote (turned out I was just being dense), someone was up within minutes with a genuine smile and actually showed me all the features instead of just fixing it and leaving. Little touches like that make such a difference when you’re away from home. The housekeeping is spot-on too – they manage to clean thoroughly without moving all your stuff around, which honestly drives me crazy at some places. With a 9.5 rating, you’d expect excellence, and Arena Suite actually delivers on that promise without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with highly-rated hotels. It’s the kind of place where you could easily extend your stay without feeling like you’re living in a sterile box, and trust me, that’s rarer than it should be.

  Seamless check-in process and lots of helpful recommendations from the host. Spotlessly clean room, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Well located for the train station and good local restaurants.

  The location was fantastic, within a short walking distance of most historic sites, close to multitude of excellent restaurants and the best gelato we have tasted.
  Francisco, our virtual host, was excellent for advice and responded almost immediately to any request we made.
  We had an unfortunate problem with our car in a country where we are not able to speak the language. He supported us throughout and made provision for accommodation at the Arena Suites or elsewhere in the vicinity when he did not have accommodation for us.
  In spite of our misfortune, we really enjoyed the extra days in Verona and more specifically at the Arena Suites – the rooms are warm and cosy and were like a home away from home. Each has a name based upon famous operas, we stayed in the Aida room.

  The room was lovely overall. It was only about a 15 minute walk from the train station and then the city centre if even that which was ideal really.
  
  What could be improved: No major issues. Only pet peeves were that the lights in the main hall at the very entrance downstairs didn't come on so it took a minute to find a light switch in the dark. Sign about leaving towels on the ground or on the rail was a bit battered and they changed the towels anyway even though we were happy holding onto them for the second night anyway.

  The suite is vary comfortably with amazing decor, the person how arranged the check in was vary helpful and responded to all my massages instantly, they also give us amazing suggestions of restaurants and cafes, definitely worth it and will stay here again
  The only problem I had is with the underground parking maybe if I came with smaller car it would have been better but it really needs some improvement specially the ramp (the owner warned me about the ramp beforehand which I truly appreciated 😂)

  Excellent location just around the corner from the Arena. The room was beautifully appointed and immaculately clean.. Francesco was an amazing host.

  Really nice location close to the center and you can experience a bit of local, not touristic atmosphere as well as some of local food shops. Francisco is an excellent host, though we didn’t meet him personally, he gave us more hints for restaurants than we could expect.

  Great Experience, The room is like an English Interior design, The beds and pillows are very comfortable, Francesco is very accommodating and even allow us to drop our luggage for an early check in. From time to time Francesco is checking on us on how are we staying in their property. PERFECT Hospitality. Definitely will refer and we will be back in this property
