First Impressions

When I first walked into Arte & Panorama, I’ll be honest — the sixth-floor location had me wondering what I’d gotten myself into. But stepping out of that elevator, wow. This three-star gem in Verona completely changed my expectations about what you can get without breaking the bank. The views from up there are absolutely stunning, and you immediately understand why couples rave about this place with its breathtaking panoramic vistas.

Location & Getting Around

The Borgo Milano area isn’t exactly the touristy center, but that’s actually what makes it special and authentic. You’re close enough to reach Verona’s main attractions without dealing with the crowds right outside your window. What really sold me was the free parking — and I mean, truly free, which is practically unheard of in Italian cities. The neighborhood has this authentic residential feel where you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, plus there are some excellent trattorias within walking distance that most tourists never discover.

The Room Experience

My room was surprisingly spacious for a three-star property, with large windows that flood the space with natural light throughout the day. The “panorama” part of the hotel’s name isn’t just marketing speak — you really do get sweeping views of the city and surrounding hills. The furnishings are modern and clean, nothing fancy but everything works perfectly and efficiently. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the bathroom, which felt more upscale than I expected. The comfortable bed and quality linens ensured restful nights after exploring the city’s many attractions.

What Makes It Special

You know what struck me most about this exceptional property? The staff genuinely cares about your experience and goes above and beyond expectations. They’re not just going through the motions — they’ll actually sit down and map out restaurant recommendations or help you figure out the best route to avoid tourist traps. The building itself has this interesting mix of contemporary design with classic Italian architecture, and being on the sixth floor gives you this sense of being above it all while still being connected to the city below. The attention to hospitality details sets this property apart from typical three-star accommodations significantly.

That impressive 9.7 rating isn’t a fluke — this place delivers exactly what it promises and then some more.   Emma was the absolute best, gave us a warm welcome and great recommendations of food & places. The apartment was just like in the photos, super clean, super cozy with great views and near to the city center in 15 minutes walking. It's easy to park there too for free in the surroundings.

  The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Mrs Emma was friendly and even though she couldn't speak English very well she found her way of communicating and gave us the best advice for visiting Verona. The location is great, you can find a number of bars, restaurants and caffès nearby, and the historical part of Verona is accessible by foot. We highly recommend and, if possible, we will definitely be coming back.

  Very homely place, great views over the city and mountains and easy to get to the centre (about 20 mins on foot).
  Supermarkets are nearby, about 15 mins walk from the train station.
  Lots of lovely art around the apartment to keep it bright and homely.
  Really clean and well looked after by Emma.
  Emma gave us some.amazing recommendations of places to eat, and also how to get to the city centre and local amenities. She was also really welcoming and friendly.
  
  What could be improved: Google maps takes you a long way around because it doesn't know about the shortcuts. Emma was great at explaining them to us however, so nothing bad at all!

  The apartment was magnificent and very clean, the air-conditioning kept us nice and cool during the 37° heat, and the balcony was a nice place to end a busy day of Verona sightseeing.
  
  What could be improved: The bed was a little too soft for our liking, and we've had some small issues with the wifi while watching a show late at night.
  
  But both of those are really small remarks that only serve as feedback to the host, in the end it didn't really bother us at all since the rest of the apartment was so nice 🙂
