This isn’t your typical hotel setup – it’s more like staying in someone’s beautifully renovated top-floor apartment, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The whole place has this airy, almost ethereal quality that you don’t expect from a 3-star property. The windows are massive, and depending on which room you get, you’ll either be waking up to golden morning light streaming across whitewashed walls or watching the sunset paint everything in warm oranges. I stayed there during late spring, and the natural light situation was honestly magical – though I imagine it might get pretty intense during peak summer months, so pack accordingly. The design is refreshingly minimal without feeling cold or sterile, which is a fine line that a lot of places try to walk but rarely nail. Here, it actually works because the space itself does most of the talking.

What really impressed me (and this is coming from someone who’s stayed in way too many hotels) is how they’ve managed to create distinct spaces within what’s essentially an attic conversion. The common areas flow into each other naturally, but you never feel cramped or like you’re stepping on other guests’ toes. The staff – and there aren’t many of them, which adds to that intimate vibe – seem to genuinely care about making sure you’re comfortable. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise restrictions, and they actually gave me useful local recommendations instead of just handing over a generic tourist map.

Now, I should mention that this isn’t the place if you’re looking for a gym, spa, or room service at 2 AM. It’s intimate, probably no more than a handful of rooms, and the vibe is more “stylish local hideaway” than “full-service hotel.” But honestly? That 9.6 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there. Sometimes you don’t need all the bells and whistles – sometimes you just want a beautifully designed space with incredible natural light, comfortable beds, and that rare feeling that you’ve discovered something special. The location puts you within easy walking distance of the kind of local spots that don’t make it into guidebooks, and the neighborhood has that authentic Italian residential feel where you’ll hear neighbors chatting from their windows and smell coffee brewing from nearby apartments in the morning.

If you’re the type of traveler who appreciates thoughtful design and doesn’t mind trading hotel amenities for character and authenticity, this place will probably end up being one of those stays you remember long after you’ve forgotten where you put your passport.

  Lovely accommodation, a short walk from the centre. Amazing view from the window, you are in the center in 15 minutes. Living room sofa, TV, dining table, fully equipped kitchen. Toilet and bathroom, two bedrooms. All clean, nicely equipped. Beds soft, but sleep well. Owner is great, was on site for key handover, communication perfect. Thank you very much for ordering a taxi to the airport. I can only recommend to everyone, you will not regret! You must use the balconies!!!

  Lo spazio alla luce, la pulizia, le comodità e la presenza di tutto il necessario, posizione ottima per me che sono stata ricoverata a borgo Trento, supermercato, farmacia, parrucchiere, tutto sotto casa. Vista bellissima dalla finestra del soggiorno. Ottima posizione per bellissime passeggiate nel verde e vicino al centro per chi ama camminare.

  Everything we needed during our stay and in a well placed area very near a supermarket, coffee shop/bar and pizzeria. Easy walk into Verona and buses nearby to get to the train station.

  Abbiamo passato un bellissimo weekend in famiglia a Verona, l'accoglienza di Nicola e la sua collaboratrice Marta è stata impeccabile!!
  L'alloggio era super pulito e molto accogliente con una bellissima vista sulla città, situato nel borgo Trento, un posto molto tranquillo dove soggiornare e molto ben collegato per muoversi sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici per arrivare nel centro della città di Verona! Consigliatissimo per qualità, prezzo e comodità! Sicuramente se dovessimo tornare a Verona sappiamo già a chi rivolgerci!!! Grazie mille per tutto! ❤️

  Nicola and Martha were waiting for us when we arrived and handed over the keys. They explained the layout of the apartment which was equipped everything one could wish for. Nicola even made us a welcome coffee and, amazingly, one evening when no taxis were available drove from his home and escorted us to the Opera so we didn't miss anything. Ten out of ten for our stay at this property !
  
  The location was just minutes away from several useful bus routes with a supermarket, restaurants, pizza outlets and cafes round the corner.

  house is so cosy and clean. the owner of the flat and his friend are very helpful. he answered all of our messages quite fast. although we changed the number of people that will stat at home in the last minute, Fabio was very flexible and understanding. flat’s place is not in the heart of the city, still 15 min by walk from the city center. the neighbourhood is quite good to feel the local italian experience
