B&B agli Orti Overview
I stumbled across B&B agli Orti during one of those frantic last-minute booking sessions, and honestly? Best accidental find I’ve made in ages. This little three-star gem completely caught me off guard – you know how sometimes a place just feels right the moment you walk in? That’s exactly what happened here.
The whole setup has this wonderfully authentic Italian feel that you can’t fake. I mean, the name literally translates to “B&B at the Gardens,” which gives you a hint about the peaceful vibe they’ve got going on. The owners – and I’m pretty sure it’s family-run because everyone seemed to know everyone – actually take pride in what they’re doing. You can tell in the small details, like how they remember your coffee preferences after day one, or the way they casually drop recommendations for that tiny trattoria around the corner that tourists never find. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without being fancy – think crisp linens, good water pressure (thank god), and windows that actually open properly. Nothing revolutionary, but everything works exactly as it should.
What really sets this place apart though is that 9.1 rating, and after staying there, I totally get it. It’s not about luxury amenities or marble bathrooms – it’s about the kind of thoughtful hospitality that makes you feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just checking into another hotel. The breakfast spread was simple but really well done, with local pastries that were clearly from a proper bakery, not those sad pre-packaged things you get at chain places. And the location – well, let’s just say you’ll want to walk everywhere because you’re perfectly positioned without being stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. I actually ended up extending my stay by two nights because leaving felt premature, if that tells you anything. Sometimes you find a place that just gets the balance right between comfort and character, and B&B agli Orti definitely nails it.

It was the first time we choose a B&B and I was a little bit worried but this property exceed all my expectations. The room is large and clean, good bathroom. The kitchen is also spacious and you have a big fridge in case you need to keep some food. The location is superb, 10 minutes by foot and you are at the Caste Vechio, 15 minutes and you are in the centre of the city. Absolutely amazing, best quality/price you can get in Verona. You can take a bus from the Porta Nova almost to the B&B if you have heavy luggage. If I ever return to Verona there is no doubt what place I will choose to stay
