You know what really struck me about B&B Al Parco? It’s one of those places that immediately feels like someone’s actual home rather than a business trying too hard to be cozy. I mean, with a 9.6 rating, I was expecting something special, but honestly – it exceeded even those high expectations.

The moment you walk in, there’s this genuinely warm atmosphere that’s hard to fake. The owners clearly put thought into every detail, from the way the morning light filters through the windows to the fact that they actually remember your name after one conversation. And speaking of breakfast – well, let’s just say you’re not getting those sad continental spreads with stale pastries. We’re talking homemade jams, fresh bread that’s still warm, and coffee that actually tastes like someone cares about what they’re serving. I found myself lingering over breakfast way longer than usual, partly because the food was that good and partly because the whole setup just invites you to slow down.

What I really appreciated was how they handle the little things that can make or break a stay. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (you’d be surprised how rare that is), the beds are properly comfortable – not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete – and there’s genuine quiet at night. No thin walls where you hear every conversation in the hallway, no mysterious banging from upstairs rooms. The location puts you close enough to everything you’d want to explore, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with street noise until all hours.

I’ll be honest, the only thing that might catch some people off guard is that this really does feel like staying in someone’s home, which means it’s more intimate than a big hotel chain. If you’re the type who prefers complete anonymity when you travel, this might not be your speed. But if you appreciate genuine hospitality and don’t mind chatting with your hosts about local recommendations – and trust me, they know all the good spots that don’t show up in guidebooks – then you’ll absolutely love it here. The three-star rating doesn’t tell the whole story; this place delivers an experience that feels much more premium than that suggests.

  Breakfast was amazing. Mauro stopped by the bakery every morning and picked up fresh pastries for us. He engaged in conversation and even offered us a ride to an event we were attending rather than having us take a taxi.

  Very good located flat with everything you need for short or mid-term stay. Just 25min of nice walk you need to achieve the city center. Parking lots are always available next to the flat.
  Very warm welcome. The host Mauro is fantastic: always ready for help, takes care about every small things you might need for your comfortable stay and best memories about Verona.

  Mauro & his wife were lovely hosts. They were very helpful and considerate. The accommodation is newly renovated and is in perfect condition. It is lovely and comfortable. It is a 15 min walk to the centre, but a 5 min cycle with the bikes provided. We were given great recommendations by the host and also cushions for the Opera!! They provide coffee & snacks each day. I would highly recommend staying in B&B Al Parco.

  Verona is a beautiful city. Staying at Mauro and Simonetta's bed and breakfast was wonderful. I felt extremely welcomed and at home. The place is super clean, quiet neighborhood and very close to the center. Mauro was very kind and helpful. I hope to return to the property soon.
