B&B Al Parco Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to B&B Al Parco, you immediately get the sense that this three-star gem punches well above its weight class. The property sits quietly on Via Campania in the Borgo Milano district, and honestly, the neighborhood feels more residential than touristy — which I actually loved. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels like real Verona rather than a tourist bubble. The building itself has that understated Italian charm you hope for, nothing flashy, but you can tell someone cares about the details.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I found interesting about the location — you’re in Borgo Milano, which means you’re close to the stadium (hence the “Stadio” in the address), but it’s not all sports bars and chaos. The area has this nice mix of local cafes and shops that locals actually use. You know what really sold me on the spot? Free parking right on site, which if you’ve ever tried to park in Italian city centers, you’ll understand is basically gold. It’s about a 15-minute walk or quick bus ride to Verona’s historic center, so you get that perfect balance of being close enough to everything but far enough away to actually relax.

The Room Experience

The rooms at B&B Al Parco have this clean, comfortable vibe that feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a sterile hotel. I mean, it’s not trying to be fancy — it’s a three-star property after all — but everything works exactly as it should. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, probably because you’re in a residential area rather than on some busy tourist strip.

Breakfast & Practical Touches

The Italian breakfast here is exactly what you’d hope for — proper coffee, fresh pastries, and none of that weird international buffet stuff that never quite works. They also offer breakfast to go, which is actually brilliant if you’re planning an early morning trip to Lake Garda or want to catch the sunrise at Juliet’s balcony before the crowds arrive. These kinds of thoughtful touches really show that the owners understand what travelers actually need, not just what looks good in photos.

Why Guests Love It

With a 9.6 rating, there’s clearly something special happening here, and after staying, I get it. Couples especially seem drawn to the place — they rated the location 9.2, which makes sense when you experience how peaceful yet accessible it feels. It’s that rare find where you’re getting genuine value without compromising on the things that actually matter: comfort, cleanliness, and that intangible feeling of being welcomed rather than just processed. The fact that it consistently delivers on these basics while maintaining such high guest satisfaction tells you everything you need to know about the care that goes into running this place.

To book hotel in Verona for the summer opera festival season, travelers reserve early to pair early Arena tours with late dinners on Piazza delle Erbe.

Reviews of B&B Al Parco

  • Dream from United States – 9 April 2025 (10/10)

Breakfast was amazing. Mauro stopped by the bakery every morning and picked up fresh pastries for us. He engaged in conversation and even offered us a ride to an event we were attending rather than having us take a taxi.

What could be improved: Nothing. We would stay at Mauro's place again.

  • Nadežda from Lithuania – 30 March 2025 (10/10)

Very good located flat with everything you need for short or mid-term stay. Just 25min of nice walk you need to achieve the city center. Parking lots are always available next to the flat.
Very warm welcome. The host Mauro is fantastic: always ready for help, takes care about every small things you might need for your comfortable stay and best memories about Verona.

Fantastic location to explore Verona from,
Mauro was an amazing host, making us feel welcomed and right at home. He also had bicycles available for guests and having the option to cycle around Verona was amazing!

What could be improved: That we couldn't stay longer.

Mauro was a wonderful host and location was walking distance from the historical centre.

  • Emma from Ireland – 3 September 2024 (10/10)

Mauro & his wife were lovely hosts. They were very helpful and considerate. The accommodation is newly renovated and is in perfect condition. It is lovely and comfortable. It is a 15 min walk to the centre, but a 5 min cycle with the bikes provided. We were given great recommendations by the host and also cushions for the Opera!! They provide coffee & snacks each day. I would highly recommend staying in B&B Al Parco.

Great Host. Amazing hospitality. Can only recommend the place. Mauro kept close contract with us from the time we had booked ( 6 months before our travels). He assisted us greatly and help in organizing all our special requests.
    Every time again!
