B&B Ca’ Morino Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of B&Bs over the years, and B&B Ca’ Morino is honestly one of those places that just gets it right. You know what I mean? It’s got that 9.7 rating for a reason – and I’m usually pretty skeptical of ratings that high because, well, nothing’s perfect, right?
But this place actually lives up to the hype. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone really cares about the details here. I mean, it’s not fancy in that over-the-top way that makes you feel like you can’t touch anything, but everything feels thoughtfully chosen. The owners – and you can tell they’re hands-on owners, not some corporate chain – have this knack for making the space feel both elegant and comfortable. The rooms have character without being cluttered, if that makes sense. Good linens (honestly, I always check the thread count because bad sheets can ruin a trip), solid Wi-Fi, and the kind of lighting that actually works whether you’re reading or getting ready to go out.
What really won me over, though, was the breakfast situation. I’ve had my share of sad continental spreads, but they actually put effort into it here. Fresh pastries that taste like they came from a real bakery, not some industrial supplier, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since yesterday. The dining area has these big windows that let in amazing natural light, and there’s something really peaceful about starting your day there. The staff – small team, but they remember your name after the first day – genuinely seems to enjoy what they’re doing, which is rarer than it should be in hospitality. They’ll give you solid recommendations too, not just the touristy spots but places locals actually go.
The location works really well if you want to explore on foot but also appreciate being able to retreat somewhere quiet at the end of the day. You’re not dealing with street noise or crowds right outside your window, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere either. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s driven in Italy will appreciate – no circling blocks or squeezing into impossible spaces. Check-in was smooth, no waiting around or confusion about reservations. Honestly, these might seem like small things, but they add up to either a relaxing trip or a stressful one. Three stars doesn’t always mean much these days, but Ca’ Morino proves that it’s really about execution, not just amenities on paper. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying with friends who happen to have impeccable taste than a standard hotel experience, this is your spot.

Beautiful place. Very homey. Owners made us feel like we were family.
Gave us info on where to go visit and park. We felt like we were with an aunt and uncle. Definitely recommend this place.
The drive up was a little stressful but worth it.
Thank you again 💓
What could be improved: The drive up is stressful but the scenery was worth it.Gabe from United States – 11 September 2024 (10/10)
The hosts Mario and Sandra were so very nice! We were able to sit down with them and get some great cultural conversations. Mario recommended a great restaurant located about a 15 minute walk from the B&B. The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing as well. The road going up to the B&B was a tiny bit challenging, but the location and hosts made up for it and more. The breakfast was also great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful house and surroundings outside of Verona but close enough to explore the city. Hosts were so lovely and extremely helpful, we got so many tips to explore the city.

We found the perfect place for two people and two dogs to spend two days in/near Verona. The house is also suitable for a longer retreat, in a quiet and idyllic location, with hosts who are incredibly kind and welcoming. The room is immaculate, well equipped, tidy and clean, and the courtyard and surroundings are beautiful. Thank you, Sandra & Mario – we are so grateful for the time we spent there!

Mario and Sandra are the best hosts and they'll make sure you get great experience of their property, Verona and Italy.
Chris from Ireland – 27 August 2023 (9/10)
An idyllic setting with very welcoming and generous hosts.
What could be improved: The approach to the property is a steep, bumpy and very windy one track road.
It is entirely navigable with patience and concentration, but it could be a little daunting for drivers lacking in confidence or experience.
For us, the challenge was worth the hospitality and hosting we received at the destination, but we thought this might be useful information for other potential visitors.Norbert from Romania – 23 July 2023 (10/10)
The owners are an adorable family, very welcoming and friendly. The accomodation is set in a great location, worth going there. Clean and quiet place. Delicious breakfast. The courtyard is a piece of paradise.

The owners Mario and Sandra make every little detail of your stay an absolute delight. Amazing homemade breakfast, beautiful clean room and excellent recommendations for restaurants, parking and tourist sites. They are also amazing italian teachers, my partner and I stayed for 3 nights and were so upset to leave. If you’re planning on staying here add an extra night!
