B&B Fablas Overview

You know what struck me first about B&B Fablas? It’s one of those places where you can tell the owners actually care about getting the details right. I mean, it’s a 3-star property, so you’re not expecting marble bathrooms or a concierge in a fancy uniform, but honestly – sometimes that works in a place’s favor. The whole vibe feels more authentic, like you’re staying somewhere real people would actually want to hang out.

The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality that I really appreciated. Nothing feels overly precious or like you can’t touch anything, which is refreshing after staying in some of those sterile chain places. The beds are genuinely comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff without playing luggage Tetris. What really impressed me was how clean everything was – I’m talking about those little corners that some places skip, but here someone clearly pays attention. The Wi-Fi actually works properly too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024, but you’d be surprised how many places still struggle with that basic necessity.

I have to mention the breakfast situation because it’s definitely a highlight. It’s not some sad continental spread with stale pastries – they put real effort into it. Fresh coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since dawn, local pastries that are actually good, and the kind of attention that makes you want to linger over your second cup. The common areas have this relaxed atmosphere where you might end up chatting with other travelers, which is sort of rare these days. The whole place runs smoothly without feeling corporate, if that makes sense. With a 9.3 rating, clearly other people are picking up on the same things I noticed – it’s just well-run hospitality without the pretense. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but sometimes what you really want is a place that does the fundamentals really well, where you feel welcome and comfortable, and where you’re not paying for a bunch of stuff you don’t actually need.

  Very friendly people, good breakfast, quiet place.
  It is around 25 min walking to the centre, and I believe you also have bus very near. We were walking because we really like the buildings, and the quiet atmosphere at morning.

  It was perfect time in Verona. This flat is situated verx near to city center so you can get there by walk in 30 minutes or by bys in 10-15 minutes) Milena is really nice and we had a nice chat during breakfast she prepared) absolutely recommended !

  Our stay at B & B Fablas was wonderful! Milena was very knowledgeable and helpful about recommendations for attractions and restaurants. There was a good variety of for breakfast including both sweet and savory items. The location of the B & B was not in the city-centre or old town which was nice as it was quiet and residential. Parking on the street (free) was not a problem and was a key reason why we chose this place. It was located on a bus line that gave easy access within about 15 minutes to the old town area. Once in the city we walked everywhere.

  Perfect host: friendly, helpful, professional.
  Nicely decorated, spotless room, with absolutely everything we needed: comfy bed, drinks, kettle, balcony, safe and so on…
  Tasty and varied breakfast: sweet, savoury, gluten free options, 4 types of milk, healthy options and great coffee.
  Nice and quiet location, not central but just few meters from the bus stop and from there it takes only 15 mins to reach city center and 20 mins to main train station.
  Amazed by check in system! Smooth and easy!

  Auto Check-in very easy and possible after indicated hours because everything was automatic. The lady was really nice and friendly. The premises were really clean. This place is nice and great for both short or long stays in Verona. Highly recommended.
