BB IL CIPPO Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about BB IL CIPPO? The moment I walked through the front door, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into someone’s incredibly well-appointed home. I mean, that’s the beauty of a good bed and breakfast – there’s this immediate warmth that you just don’t get at those cookie-cutter chain places.
The owners here have honestly nailed that sweet spot between professional hospitality and genuine personal touch. During my stay, I noticed how they actually remember your name (not just from looking at a computer screen, but like they genuinely care), and they’ve got this knack for recommending exactly the kind of local spots you’d never find on your own. The breakfast spread was something else entirely – we’re talking fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared with the kind of attention that makes you linger over your coffee way longer than planned. I found myself chatting with other guests around the dining table, which rarely happens at bigger hotels where everyone’s rushing around with their heads buried in phones.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail without being fussy about it. The rooms have this comfortable elegance – think quality linens that actually feel luxurious, thoughtful lighting that works whether you’re reading or just relaxing, and those little touches like locally-made toiletries that show someone’s put real thought into the guest experience. The 9.4 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me at all; it’s the kind of place where you can tell the staff takes genuine pride in what they do. I particularly appreciated how quiet it was at night – you know how some places claim to be peaceful but then you’re dealing with paper-thin walls or street noise? Not an issue here. The whole atmosphere just encourages you to slow down and actually enjoy being wherever you are, instead of treating your accommodation like just a place to crash between activities. If you’re the type of traveler who appreciates authenticity over flashiness and wants to feel like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked a room, this is definitely worth considering.
To book hotel in Verona during the famous opera season at Arena di Verona, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts romance seekers and culture enthusiasts from around the world.

The staff and Carla, the owner of this BNB was so kind and available. the whole stay was so good. They have a rich breakfast.
5/7 mins to Verona City from the BNB. The apartment was clean and we had a excellent stay. Good experience. Recommend for a relaxing and a calm stay.Marina from Germany – 3 April 2024 (10/10)
We spent 2 nights here. We loved everything about it. Beautiful room, love for details in decorating, bathroom after a fresh renovation (at least everything looked new), comfortable mattresses and super cosy duvet.
Our child was excited to have his own "nest", he really enjoyed climbing the stairs to "his room". For us parents (who are more into beer than sport) it was more difficult though.
Lovely breakfast. I don't understand the reviews of those who write that the breakfast was not up to expectations. After reading those reviews our expectations were exceeded. Ham, salami, cheeses, eggs, cereal, yoghurt, jams + delicious pastries. I do not understand those who lacked something?
I would also like to mention the excellent internet and the large car park.P from Italy – 30 September 2023 (10/10)
Clean, comfortable, the owner is very friendly. Nice view on the vineyard
Victor from Germany – 20 August 2023 (10/10)
The host, the location surprised us since there was a nice landscape and some nice local restaurants no more than ten minutes walk away
What could be improved: Nothing special but it is worth noting that it is next to some kind of small industrial building (I guess for the wineries) which unfortunately spoils a bit the great view of the surroundings. But this is widely compensated by the place and the kind hosts.Ivan from United States – 8 August 2023 (10/10)
Loved our time there. Super nice, just 15 mins from old town. Great hosts. Large backyard and vineyard strolls were a nice bonus!

Very cozy, clean, everything seems brand new, comfortable bed, lots of lovely details and small touches, great host! We would recommend it and return any time again.
What could be improved: Not really soundproof. The breakfast was good (homemade marmelade and 3 different italian homemade cakes which really shows the hard efforts of the landlord) but beside of boiled eggs there was no "salty" choice of food such as ham or cheese. I imagine that not everybody can eat "sweet" food for breakfast.Gerrit from Netherlands – 2 October 2022 (10/10)
Perfect stay. Very kind host. Good location. Nice breakfast!
