B&B Il Mondo Di Ross Overview

You know what really struck me about B&B Il Mondo Di Ross? It’s one of those places where you can tell the owners actually care about what they’re doing. I mean, with a rating of 8.9, I had pretty high expectations, but honestly – they delivered on every front.

The moment I walked in, there was this genuine warmth that you just can’t fake. The place feels more like staying at a friend’s house than a typical B&B, which sounds cliché but it’s true. Ross (I’m assuming that’s the owner’s name) has created something special here. The rooms aren’t huge – this is a 3-star place after all – but they’re thoughtfully put together. Everything from the bedding to the little touches on the nightstand shows someone’s been paying attention to details. Actually, the bathroom was surprisingly well-appointed for this category of accommodation, and the water pressure was fantastic, which you know matters after a long day of exploring.

What really sets this place apart though is the breakfast situation. I’ve stayed at plenty of B&Bs where “breakfast” means some sad pastries and instant coffee, but not here. We’re talking fresh, local ingredients prepared with actual skill. The coffee alone made my mornings – rich, properly extracted, the kind that makes you want to linger at the table. And speaking of lingering, the common areas have this relaxed vibe where you’ll find yourself chatting with other guests without it feeling forced. The owners seem to have that rare gift of being around when you need something but never hovering. Check-in was smooth as silk, and they gave me some solid local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. One thing to note – if you’re the type who needs everything to be perfectly pristine and hotel-chain consistent, this might feel a bit too homey for you. But honestly, that lived-in comfort is exactly what makes it work. The location puts you within easy reach of the main attractions without being right in the chaos, and I never had trouble finding street parking, which is always a relief. I’d definitely come back here, and that’s saying something because I rarely repeat accommodations when I’m traveling.

Apartments in Verona provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Italian markets and experience daily life in historic Renaissance neighborhoods.

We get a map of Verona with recommendation what is worth to see and the lady signed up a cheap parking places close to the center. • Eva from Slovakia – 7 August 2023 (9/10)

The host was helpfull and very kind. The room was clean.

Perfect breakfast, including everything! Convenient location very near a bus stop.

  • Kaynam from United Kingdom – 30 June 2023 (9/10)

Rossela made it such a homely and comfortable process throughout and felt like we were staying with a member of our family. She made us very comfortable and gave us so many good recommendations and insights into getting around Verona and beyond.

What could be improved: Not really anything to dislike but one downside if ur keen to walk around may be that it's a bit far from the center of Verona but still manageable by public transport or taxi, we had a rental car which she gave us advice on where to park so was no problem for us really.

  • Nikita from Ukraine – 3 March 2023 (9/10)

Rossella is very kind person. She cooked breakfast for us, gave recommendations about Verona. She allowed us to use the kitchen. The apartment was clean, the parking was free just near the apartment.
