When I first walked up to this place, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a 3-star B&B, but the moment I saw those weathered stone walls and the way the afternoon light hit them, I knew this was going to be something special.

The thing is, this isn’t one of those places that tries too hard to be fancy. It’s just… authentic, you know? The owners clearly put thought into preserving the building’s character while making sure everything actually works properly. My room had these thick stone walls that kept everything wonderfully cool during the day, and I mean, the silence at night was incredible – something you don’t always get at smaller places. The breakfast situation was honestly better than I expected too. None of that continental breakfast nonsense with stale pastries, but actual local stuff that changes based on what’s good that day. I remember having this amazing ricotta that the owner mentioned came from somewhere nearby, and you could just tell it wasn’t from some industrial supplier.

What really impressed me was how the whole place just felt… lived-in, but not tired, if that makes sense. The common areas had this comfortable, worn-in feeling where you could actually imagine hanging out with a book or chatting with other travelers. And speaking of other travelers, the mix was perfect – not too many tour groups or party crowds, just people who seemed to appreciate the quieter side of things. The staff (well, really it’s more like a family operation) actually knew the area and could point you toward spots that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. I got some great recommendations for local restaurants that I never would have found otherwise. Sure, it’s not going to have all the bells and whistles of a big hotel chain, but that 9.2 rating isn’t just for show – this place delivers on what actually matters when you’re trying to get a feel for a place rather than just passing through.

  Very kind host, who is always trying to help you. The apartment was clean and big enough. No problem with parking at all. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
  
  What could be improved: Breakfasts have less choice and the apartment is bit further from the center (cca 1h on foot).

  In the morning when we had to check out we tried to call taxi and uber to get us to airport and everything was busy. Owner saw that and tried to call taxi for us. He could not get it either, so he took us with his own car to the airport.

  Luciano was extremely friendly and helpful! I felt very welcome here. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and spacious. It’s located near a bus station from where you can get to the city center. The breakfast got everything I needed
