B&B Molino2Rosso Overview
You know what really struck me about B&B Molino2Rosso? It’s one of those places that completely flies under the radar but honestly shouldn’t. I stumbled across it almost by accident, and I’m so glad I did – sometimes the best discoveries happen when you’re not even looking for them.
The whole setup feels refreshingly authentic, which is getting harder to find these days. The owners actually live there, and you can tell they genuinely care about the place rather than just running it like a business. I mean, you’ll notice it right away when they greet you – there’s this warmth that you just can’t fake. The building itself has this lovely old-world character (I think it used to be an actual mill, hence the name), with thick walls that keep things surprisingly quiet even when there’s activity outside. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully designed with these nice touches that show someone was actually thinking about what travelers need. The bed was properly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and the shower had decent pressure, which honestly matters more than people admit.
What really sets this place apart though is how they handle the little things. The breakfast isn’t just continental hotel fare; they actually put effort into it with local ingredients and homemade items that change based on what’s in season. I particularly remember this incredible jam they made themselves – something you’d never get at a chain hotel. The common areas feel lived-in rather than sterile, with books you might actually want to read and furniture that’s comfortable rather than just photogenic. Parking was straightforward too, which saved me the usual headache of circling around looking for a spot. The Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the building, and they had these handy local maps with handwritten recommendations that were way more useful than anything you’d find online. With a 9.3 rating, it’s clear other people have had similar experiences – that kind of score doesn’t happen by accident, especially for a smaller place like this. It’s the sort of spot where you feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just occupying a room, and honestly, that’s become pretty rare in travel these days.
To book a hotel in Verona during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this romantic city draws visitors eager to experience its Shakespearean heritage and medieval charm.

Linda is such a welcoming and kind host & it has been a pleasure staying at Molino2Rosso B&B!
It was our first time visiting Verona and Linda's recommendations regarding restaurants, places to visit etc. were a great help.
Breakfast gives you a variety of things to choose from & it was always delicious.
We loved our room & the whole interior of the B&B with it's romantic and cozy feeling and the pretty inner courtyard where you could always enjoy a morning coffee and a quiet retreat.
It's a short distance to different bus stops from where you reach the city centre in about twenty minutes & there is a supermarket near by (five minute walk), so everything's well accessible.
Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable!
We can only recommend Molino2Rosso B&B for anyone thinking about visiting Verona!Rebeka from Slovenia – 2 July 2024 (10/10)
This B&B is such a lovely place, a litte oasis in the city. A short walk to the bus stations that takes you directly to the city center (or a 45min walk, which is also not bad). The room was beautiful, clean, charming and cosy. The hosts were lovely and nice. Would recommend 100%.
Sarah from Germany – 1 April 2024 (10/10)
Cute and beautifully decorated place, cozy rooms, beautiful balcony. Very clean. The host was exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcomed. She made a delicious breakfast in the morning and even got out of her way to get my headphones back after I lost them in the Uber.
Anna from Greece – 4 March 2024 (9/10)
The place was nice. Federicas smile and service was the best!
Joachim from Denmark – 19 February 2024 (10/10)
Great atmosphere both inside and outside. Room was large and very tastefully decorated, with large and comfortable bed, good heating/cooling facilities and a fully equipped bathroom. A double-door opened to a small balcony overlooking the large, enclosed garden, reminding me to return later in the year to enjoy this as well.
The breakfast room was equally pleasant with a delightful interior and a small library next to it.
Probably the nicest stay I’ve experienced in many years!
And the host family? Ever so kind and lovely!!!

We had a very friendly welcome. The owner and family were very nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Helped with local logistics and things to do.
What could be improved: A ketle and teabags in the room would have been useful.Roberta from Italy – 24 September 2023 (10/10)
Beautfully and stylishly decorated B&B with a lovely private garden full of fruit trees and greenery – an oasis in the city. Very hospitable and helpful host! Comfortable beds, warm shower and a generous continental breakfast.
