You know what caught me off guard about B&B Rialto? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not – and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. I mean, sure, it’s a solid 3-star spot with decent ratings (around 7.2 out of 10), but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole experience that I actually found more appealing than some of the flashier hotels I’ve stayed at.

The thing is, when you walk into the lobby, you immediately get that authentic bed-and-breakfast vibe – not the overly curated Instagram version, but the real deal where the staff actually remembers your name by day two. The rooms are clean and comfortable without being fancy, which I sort of appreciated after dealing with those sterile chain hotels that all look identical. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are well-maintained, though don’t expect marble countertops or anything like that. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – fresh towels that actually smell like they were properly cleaned, decent water pressure, and windows that open properly if you want some fresh air instead of relying on AC all the time.

The breakfast situation is where this place really shines, honestly. It’s not a massive buffet spread, but what they do offer is actually good – proper coffee (not that watery hotel stuff), fresh pastries, and they’ll even accommodate dietary restrictions if you mention it the night before. I spent most mornings chatting with other guests over breakfast, which doesn’t happen often at bigger hotels where everyone’s rushing around. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re settled in, and they’re pretty knowledgeable about the area if you need restaurant recommendations or directions. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on when you arrive – it’s not their fault, just the reality of the location – but they’ll give you the inside scoop on where to find spots nearby. The only minor downside I noticed was that the walls are a bit thin, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs. But overall, B&B Rialto delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, no-nonsense stay with that personal touch you just can’t get at the big chain places.

  Location was great and easy to get by public transport. Absolutely wonderful restaurant close by and Max was easy to contact with.

  Overall, my stay at Rate B&B Rialto was pleasant. The facilities in the room were excellent, offering a comfortable and well-equipped space. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the service commendable.
  
  However, I must mention that the location of the hotel was quite far from the city center, making it less convenient for exploring the main attractions. Additionally, being situated on the 3rd or 4th story without a lift was a bit challenging, especially with luggage or after a tiring day of sightseeing.
  
  If you prioritize a quiet and peaceful environment with great facilities, Rate B&B Rialto could be a suitable choice. Just be prepared for the inconvenience of the location and stairs if you prefer easy access to the city center and require lift accessibility.

  Max, who was in charge of the B&B, was in constant contact with us and waited for us to come. The main double bed was comfortable and the high ceiling gave us the impression of space. Although the place is a bit distant from the city of Verona, there are several buses which bring you there in less than 30 minutes for 2 euros.
  
  What could be improved: The secondary storied bed was squeezing and our son had difficulties with sleeping on it. In the description, it was written that there was a coffee maker, but in fact, it was only available for those, who pay for the breakfast.
