BECKET VERONA FLAT Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about BECKET VERONA FLAT, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries come when you lower your expectations just enough to be pleasantly surprised. This little gem in Verona completely caught me off guard in the best possible way.
The thing is, staying here feels more like crashing at a well-appointed friend’s apartment than checking into a typical hotel. The flat setup means you actually get space to breathe – and I mean real space, not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re practically sleeping on top of your suitcase. There’s something refreshing about having a proper kitchen where you can make your morning coffee exactly how you like it, especially after you’ve picked up some of those incredible Italian beans from the local markets. The furnishings aren’t trying too hard to be fancy, but everything works and feels comfortable in that lived-in sort of way. Honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I anticipated – I actually overslept my first morning there, which never happens when I travel.
What really impressed me was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure you had what you needed. Check-in was smooth, no weird bureaucratic hoops to jump through, and they were quick to offer suggestions about the area without being pushy about it. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there for a day or two – it’s one of those places where all the little details add up to create something that just works. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with marble bathrooms or a rooftop pool, but that’s kind of the point. You’re in Verona, after all – you want to be out exploring those narrow cobblestone streets and discovering hidden trattorias, not lounging around some overly polished hotel lobby. The location puts you right in the mix of things without the touristy chaos, which means you can actually walk to most places you’d want to see but still find quiet moments when you need them. I found myself looking forward to coming back each evening, making a simple dinner, and just soaking in the fact that I was actually living in this beautiful Italian city, even if just for a few days. It’s funny how the right accommodation can make you feel like a temporary local instead of just another tourist passing through.

Location was excellent, just across the bridge but near enough to the centre.
The flat was very clean and tidy and had all the facilities you would need for a short break.Kiah from United States – 22 September 2024 (8/10)
Amenities were well stocked. Location was as described. Understanding check-in process.
What could be improved: Some picture of the flat (e.i. The fireplace/second level) were not of the actual flat.Elinor from United Kingdom – 8 September 2024 (10/10)

It was quite once you came through the courtyard but really close to everything. Had everything we needed with a small kitchen, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. It was quite quirky which we like.
What could be improved: Probably a little bit small as the bed was in the living area but it was good value for money so we didn’t mind.Adele from Australia – 10 September 2023 (8/10)
The apartment was close to all the main sites and town, definitely in walking distance. It had all the facilities we needed. What was a nice touch was the 2 concert cushions that were sitting on the wardrobe. We used them to actually go to a concert at the colloseum during our stay.

Excellent location
Cassandra from United States – 5 July 2023 (10/10)
What could be improved: The bedroom and bathroom are on different floors. That might not work for some people.
Murphy from United Kingdom – 28 June 2022 (8/10)
What could be improved: Damp smell downstairs. A dehumidifier may help.
