This place has that warm, buzzing energy that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into someone’s really well-curated home rather than just another tourist accommodation.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Verona at all. You’re close enough to walk to all the major sights without being right in the thick of the crowds that swarm around Juliet’s balcony (honestly, skip that tourist trap and just enjoy wandering the quieter piazzas). What I really appreciated was how the hosts – and they genuinely feel like hosts, not just property managers – seem to understand what travelers actually need. They’ve got those little touches figured out, you know? Like decent lighting for reading, proper hangers that don’t fall off the rod, and – this might sound silly – but really good shower pressure. It’s the kind of place where someone clearly thought through the experience of staying there.

The 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there. I mean, these aren’t luxury hotel amenities, but everything works exactly as it should. The beds are comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner, and the neighborhood is quiet enough that you’ll sleep well but lively enough that you feel connected to real Veronese life. I loved hearing the locals chatting in the early evening from the little cafés nearby – it felt authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find in popular Italian cities. The check-in process was smooth too, which honestly can make or break a stay when you’re tired from traveling. What struck me most was how the space manages to feel both cozy and uncluttered. There’s clearly been thought put into the design, but it doesn’t feel precious or untouchable. You can actually relax and spread out a bit, maybe leave your book on the side table without feeling like you’re messing up someone’s Instagram-perfect setup. If you’re the type who likes exploring beyond the main tourist circuit – and in Verona, you definitely should be – this gives you a great base without the stuffiness of a formal hotel or the unpredictability of some random Airbnb.

  Excellent apartment in a good location, walking distance to the town and the train station. The apartment was exceptionally clean, in a nice area and felt very secure. Marco kept in touch throughout, providing information on the apartment and verona. He was also very flexible with check-in and departure times.
