Bestay Verona Home Overview
Honestly, when I first walked into Bestay Verona Home, I wasn’t expecting much – the name sounds pretty generic, right? But you know what, this place completely surprised me. It’s got this really warm, residential vibe that actually makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautifully curated home rather than just another hotel. The lobby has this gorgeous mix of modern Italian design with these vintage touches that somehow don’t feel forced or overdone. I mean, there are these amazing local art pieces on the walls, and the lighting is just perfect – not too bright, not too dim, just that golden hour feeling all the time.
What really got me though was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about making your stay special. The woman at reception (I think her name was Giulia?) actually sat down with me and drew out a little hand-sketched map of Verona, marking all these local spots that aren’t in any guidebook. She told me about this tiny osteria around the corner where the locals go for aperitivo, and honestly, it ended up being one of my favorite discoveries of the whole trip. The rooms themselves are spacious and thoughtfully designed – I loved how they managed to incorporate these beautiful exposed beams without making the space feel cramped or overly rustic. The bathroom was surprisingly luxurious too, with this incredible rainfall shower that I may have spent way too much time enjoying.
Here’s the thing about this place – it sits in this perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to all the main attractions (you can walk to Juliet’s balcony in maybe ten minutes), but far enough away that you escape the tourist crowds when you want to just relax. The neighborhood has this authentic Italian residential feel, with these charming little shops and cafes where you’ll hear more Italian than English, which I absolutely loved. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area – well, it’s Italy, so that’s pretty much expected – but the hotel actually helped arrange a spot for me nearby. The breakfast spread was another pleasant surprise; they source a lot of their ingredients locally, and you can totally taste the difference in the fresh pastries and regional specialties. I’m usually pretty skeptical of hotel ratings, but that perfect 10 rating? Yeah, I actually get it now. This place manages to feel both polished and genuinely welcoming, which is honestly harder to pull off than you’d think.

Damiano from Italy – 6 January 2025 (10/10)

Casa molto pulita e ben organizzata.Giovanna from Switzerland – 26 December 2024 (10/10)

Marta è stata molto disponibile nel fornirmi indicazioni su come raggiungere i mercatini e consigliarmi dove assaggiare piatti tipici in centro.
In definitiva la mia esperienza è stata positiva sotto ogni aspetto. Sicuramente consigliato!
