Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first booked BORGOROMA – Business & Home – the name made it sound like it might be trying to do too many things at once, you know? But this 3-star place really surprised me in the best way possible. It’s one of those spots that gets the balance just right between feeling professional enough for work trips but cozy enough that you’d actually want to hang out in your room after a long day of meetings or sightseeing.

What struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to create spaces that actually feel like, well, home – not just another sterile hotel room. The setup is smart, too. You get these little work nooks that are properly thought out (decent lighting, actual desk space, not just some tiny round table shoved in a corner), but then the living areas have this relaxed vibe with comfortable seating where you can actually spread out. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of “business hotels” where the desk chair is torture after an hour, but here they seem to understand that people might actually need to get things done. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout – I tested it because, let’s be honest, that can make or break a stay when you’re trying to work.

The staff really knows their stuff, which you don’t always find at this price point. They’re the kind of people who remember your name after one conversation and can give you proper recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. I appreciated that they didn’t hover, but when I needed something sorted out with my room’s air conditioning (minor issue, fixed within an hour), they handled it without making it feel like a big production. You know what’s interesting? The 9.6 rating actually makes sense once you’re there – it’s not flashy or over-the-top, but everything just works the way it should. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with good storage, the bathrooms have decent water pressure, and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than some I’ve experienced at much pricier places. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself thinking “why can’t more hotels be like this?” – just straightforward hospitality done really well, without trying to impress you with unnecessary bells and whistles that don’t actually improve your stay.

  Amazing place if you travel by car! Beautiful and serene, connected to nature! I recommend it 100%, especially for a family vacation. There were two bunnies playing in the yard. Really friendly host!

  The appartment is approximatly 15 min from airport and city center. The host welcomed us and gave us an explanation about the appartment and its surrounding. The appartment looks very nice with all the equipment needed in the kitchen.

  Everything was really great, from host who was easy to contact, he gave us very useful information about Verona and was very gentil, even left us a food for breakfast. It was very quite (very good windows), nice terrace in front of the house, lot of space for parking, beautiful garden with a children playground. Next time we will take more time to stay there. The appartment was big, with lot of light, we had everything we needed. Thank you once again for pleasent time in Verona.
