Brennero Apartments Overview
You know, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up to Brennero Apartments – the name had me thinking it might be one of those sterile, corporate-feeling places. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. There’s something refreshingly straightforward about this 3-star spot that I actually found pretty appealing. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, if you know what I mean.
The apartments themselves are well, actually apartment-style – which sounds obvious but you’d be amazed how many places call themselves “apartments” and then give you a glorified hotel room. Here you get proper kitchen setups (not just a mini-fridge and a sad little coffee maker), decent-sized living areas, and enough space to actually unpack your stuff without playing Tetris with your belongings. I mean, the decor isn’t going to win any design awards – think functional European minimalism – but everything works and it’s clean, which honestly matters more than fancy throw pillows. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which saved me during a particularly brutal work call (sorry, neighbors, if you heard me pacing around at 7 AM).
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. I’m someone who needs actual silence to sleep properly, and I was worried about street noise, but the windows do their job well. The check-in process was smooth – no long waits or confusing key card situations. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will tell you is basically a small miracle. Look, with a 7.3 rating, you’re not getting perfection here, and there were definitely a few minor quirks – the shower pressure could be better, and the air conditioning worked but took its sweet time cooling things down. But for the price point and the genuine apartment feel, I’d honestly stay here again. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in for a few days without feeling like you’re camping out in a hotel room, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Excellent location, next to the railway station. Very hospitable service staff – knowledgeable recommendations. The room is clean, a kettle is available. A very good option if you want to stay in Venice and want to walk everywhere. Even after check-out, they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage. Very good breakfast ( +~ 20 eur), exceptionally tasty, freshly baked buns and breakfast can start with Prosecco, if so desired 🙂
What could be improved: The shower system was advanced, but not all of its features worked as expected.Armando from Italy – 24 November 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: non saprei proprio… tornare una prossima volta e ritrovare "IlLeoni" come l'avevo lasciato in questo soggiorno potrebbe solo farmi piacere.
