Here’s what I love about Ca’ Del Sasso’s spot in Verona — you’re far enough from the tourist chaos around Juliet’s balcony to actually get some peace, but close enough that a fifteen-minute walk gets you to the Arena or Piazza delle Erbe. The neighborhood has that authentic residential feel where you’ll see locals doing their morning shopping and kids heading to school. Plus, and this is huge for Italy, there’s actually free parking on-site. I mean, try finding that anywhere near the historic center — it’s practically unheard of.

My room was honestly more spacious than I expected for a three-star property in Italy. The decor strikes this nice balance between traditional Italian touches and modern comfort — think warm colors and quality linens without going overboard on the Renaissance theme. The bathroom was compact but functional, with good water pressure (always a concern in older Italian buildings). What I appreciated most was how quiet everything was at night, even with the windows open during warmer months. The furnishings are thoughtfully selected to maximize both style and practicality.

  The host treat us well,we don't speak Italian so we were delighted that we communicated in English with the host. We were in room n6 ,which is not in the house actually. It is a small building just behind the house. Not a bad size studio flat. One double and a single bed,well suited for three of us( 2 adults and 11 years babyteen 🤯). The beds were comfortable for our liking.
  Very quiet and pleasant at night,the air conditioner is a big plus as it was scorching hot in August 😰
  
  Small kitchenette, including a big freezer. The bathroom is decent size,same as the shower cabin.
  Just keep in mind you need to pay city tax,per person. It only couple of euros. I've included the picture of it.
  The other picture is the reception which is suited outside of the house ,next to the parking.
  
  If we pass by in the future , we'll definitely stay again!
  
  What could be improved: The shower tray was a bit slippery,so be careful.

  Very clean and friendly staff. Room was cozy and warm, comfortable bed and great shower. Location was perfect, 10 minutes from Verona and 30 mins from Lake Garda (highly recommend Sirmione!!)
