Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Camelot Red – Appartamenti, the name made me think of some cheesy medieval-themed place with fake knights and plastic swords. But you know what? I was completely wrong, and I’m actually glad I gave it a shot because this little gem surprised me in the best possible way.

What struck me right away was how these aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms – these are proper apartments with actual living spaces where you can spread out and breathe. I mean, after months of squeezing into standard hotel boxes, having a real kitchen where I could make morning coffee without fighting with those terrible pod machines was honestly life-changing. The apartments have this clean, modern vibe that somehow doesn’t feel sterile – there’s character here, with thoughtful touches that make you think someone actually cared about how the space would feel to live in, not just how it would photograph for booking sites. The furniture is solid (not that flimsy stuff you usually get), and the beds are genuinely comfortable – I’m talking about waking up refreshed, not with that weird hotel mattress backache.

Here’s the thing that really impressed me though – the attention to practical details that most places completely ignore. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, the water pressure is fantastic, and there’s proper storage so you’re not living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you’d actually need, not just the bare minimum to technically call it a kitchenette. I ended up cooking several meals there, which saved me a ton of money and honestly made the whole experience feel more like I was temporarily living somewhere rather than just passing through. The cleaning is thorough too – I stayed for a week and everything stayed spotless without that overwhelming chemical smell some places seem to think equals clean. With a 9.4 rating, I expected it to be decent, but this place genuinely earned those numbers through all the little things they get right. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll find yourself thinking “okay, I could actually see myself living like this” – which, for a three-star place, is pretty remarkable.

Hotel in Verona booking should be done early, especially during summer opera season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at the ancient Roman Arena.

  Very clean and the beds are comfortable. Bus access was easy and supermarket was around the corner. Lots of other amenities.
  
  What could be improved: It needs a washing machine. It is just a little out from the city of Verona.

  The apartments are brand new, beautiful, very clean and tidy, and with all amenities one family needs. Easy to find in Verona is a big plus. Each apartment has dedicated parking spot in garage. Wifi is very fast and beds are very comfy. My recommendation!

  The one bedroom apartment was nice, spacious and new.Perfect for three persons. Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed, not too soft. Also the pillows were a great quality. The kitchen was really wellequipped, so we were able to cook dinner and prepare breakfast. The basicspices for one salat was provided: olive oil, vinegar and salt. The basictoiletries were also provided. We loved a big balcony with a seating area where wewere able to enjoy after a long day. There is a free parking spot in thegarage, where you can safely park your car during the stay. We have receivedall the important information about our stay via email and in the same email wegot the code for entering the garage and apartment. The instructions were veryclear so we did not need an additional explanation about anything. The locationof the apartment is great for reaching the city center. We just needed to walkthree minutes to the main road and catch the bus nr. 41, which was possible topay with our phone. There is a pharmacy and a food market nearby theapartment. The neighborhood is quiet and seems safe. We are really satisfiedwith our choice to stay in this apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The entrance to the garage and a parking space were really narrow, so it was a bit of a challenge to park there. But luckily it is not imposible so it is just a type of a challenge, which makes you really proud of yourself when you make it. The shower was leaking a bit under the shower doors, so the floors were wet anytime we took a shower. But we simply wiped it and it was good. Other than that we really don't have any complaints, since the apartment is great.

  System of checkin and access is easy. All instructions were correct. Nice and clean apartment. Nice and big balcony with sitting. Parking in garage is also a benefit. The owner is responsive. I recommend.

  The appartment is very well equipped, you have everything you need. The air condition works really well (if it stops you need to lower the temperature to the minimum and wait for app. 20 minutes until it starts again). The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is equipped with everything you need as well as the kitchen. My favourite place was the gorgeous terrace. There‘s a pharmacy accrosd the road and the big supermarket Esselunga some 10 minutes away by foot which is open every day until 10 p.m. (on Sundays until 8 p.m.). Next to the appartment, there‘s a big free public parking space.
  
  What could be improved: The location is ok if you go by car to the centre, but public transport (bus lines 41 and 52 which run to the centre) doesn’t run very often (every 20-40 minutes) and is only available until app. 9 p.m., but by bus you are in 10 minutes in the centre (you can nuy the tickets in the bus). A taxi driver of Verona taxi at the arena told us it was 12€ back to the appartment, but we didn‘t take a taxi in the end.

  Everything worked out as agreed with access. Parking is tight but very do-able: i drive a Skoda SuperB and it fitted in. Spacious and clean apartment, connection to the centre via Bus worked out well. Its close to the highway.
