What’s brilliant is that couples seem to absolutely adore this location (they’ve rated it a perfect 10), and I get why. You can duck out for an evening passeggiata, grab aperitivo at one of the nearby wine bars, then slip back to your quiet refuge without dealing with the chaos of staying right on the main squares.

The Room Experience

My room had this perfect blend of historical character and modern comfort that Italian hotels sometimes struggle to balance. The ceilings were beautifully high, and the windows — well, they actually opened properly, which is more rare than you’d think in these old buildings. The bathroom was compact but thoughtfully designed, with good water pressure (trust me, this matters after a day of walking on cobblestones). What struck me most was how quiet everything felt, despite being surrounded by the bustling centro storico.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here have this lovely rhythm — you can hear the city waking up through your windows, but it’s gentle rather than jarring. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood, so when you ask about where locals actually eat (not just the tourist traps), they’ll point you toward those tiny osterias hidden down side streets. I mean, staying this central means you can pop back during the day if you need a break, which honestly saved me during Verona’s surprisingly intense summer heat.

  The location was perfect walking distance. We did a self guided tour to 21 places most fairly close from our stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The balcony was adorable, and I was able to hang my laundry over the balcony Italian style 😎 handy washing machine, lots of closet space. The host was very helpful when we needed anything

  It was very clean and in close to everything. The host was very friendly and gave some helpful information about the location. He also helped with our suitcase. There is also a washing machine which was very handy.

  The appartement is very cosy and has this warm homely feeling. The location is just great to walk around the city by foot. Great food and restaurant suggestions from the owner that helped us enjoy Verona's food at its best!
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen ustensils could be improved but overall it is very functionnal. Parking is difficult in the area, we got lucky.

  Pier was a superb host and the apartment exceeded our expectations. Communication with Pier before our arrival was excellent and all the information he gave us about Verona of places to see, cafes, restaurants and bars, and the buses was really useful. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything we needed, and is in an ideal location to explore Verona whilst not right in the heart of the city. We would certainly recommend staying here.
