Casa Chiara sits in this sweet spot where you can actually walk to the good stuff without being right in the chaos. I loved how quiet it gets at night – you can hear the city settling down, but it’s not dead silent in that weird way some hotels can be. The rooms have this lived-in elegance, if that makes sense. Nothing’s trying too hard to be fancy, but everything works and feels considered. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are bigger than you’d expect.

What really sets this place apart is the staff – they know the neighborhood like locals because, well, most of them are. When I asked about dinner recommendations, I didn’t get the usual tourist restaurant list. Instead, I got sent to this little osteria three streets over where I ended up having one of my best meals in Italy. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you hope for but rarely get. The breakfast situation is solid too – nothing elaborate, but fresh pastries and good coffee, which honestly is all you need before wandering around Verona all day. I noticed they stock local honey and jams, small touches that show someone cares about the details. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of the city, but they’ll point you toward a garage that’s reasonable and safe. The whole experience just feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find these days.

  The apartment was so lovely. Very clean. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is quite tight for space. Good value for money. Parking available. Just outside the centre with public transport available. We had a power issue of trying to run too many appliances at once. So be aware.

  The house/flat is extremely cozy, comfortable, clean, and very pleasant. Chiara gave me the instructions very clearly. Of all the places I stayed in Italy, this house was undoubtedly the best in every aspect. It's worth being with family or friends and enjoying a good time in this place. If I return to Verona I will definitely stay in this apartment again.

  A clean, quite spacious apartment located in a peaceful residential area. The host also provided parking at the back of the apartment building. The check-in process was smooth with detailed instructions and photos. The kitchen has a gas stove, and there's an automatic gas water heater, ensuring a constant supply of hot water with a good water pressure in the shower.
  Overall, everything was enjoyable, except for a couple of minor issues and the air conditioning.
  
  What could be improved: The location of the air conditioner in the apartment was the least appealing aspect for me; it's situated in the corridor, and I don't think it can cool not only the nearby rooms but also the living room or kitchen. Luckily, we had a heavy rain at night, which made it less hot, and we could open the windows. The kitchen is relatively cramped (narrow); only one person can cook there, and the trash bin is located at the far end of the kitchen. The internet speed is good, over 80 Mbps, but it's only strong in the living room; the signal is very weak in the distant room and the toilet.

  The place is equipped with all the necessities, very clean and spatious. We travelled by car so the free parking was a plus and it was easy for us to get to the center – just a few minutes drive.
  
  What could be improved: There was no hot water, so we had to shower with lukewarm water which is not terrible but not ideal either.
