You know what caught me off guard about Casa Fiera? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with fancy lobbies or marble everything, but somehow gets all the important stuff right. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star property, so don’t expect champagne service, but honestly – sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for something genuine and unpretentious.

The first thing I noticed walking in was how the staff actually seemed to care about what they were doing. Not in that overly rehearsed hotel school way, but more like they genuinely wanted to make sure you were sorted. Check-in was smooth (I got there around 2 PM on a Thursday), and the person at the front desk took the time to actually explain the area instead of just handing over a generic city map. The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality – nothing groundbreaking design-wise, but everything works properly, which is honestly more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed. The beds are decent, the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase for the entire trip.

What really won me over, though, was the little details that show someone’s paying attention. The WiFi actually works throughout the building (revolutionary, I know), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and housekeeping doesn’t wake you up at 7 AM. I stayed there during what seemed like a busy period, but it never felt chaotic or overwhelmed. The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the most luxurious spot in town, but it delivers consistently on what matters most to travelers. You get the sense that the management actually listens to feedback and makes adjustments accordingly. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a well-run guesthouse than a corporate hotel chain, Casa Fiera hits that sweet spot between comfort and authenticity that’s surprisingly hard to find these days.

  It was very close to gardaland, to the lake garda and to verona at the same time, so very good location. Also, very quiet, parking place next to the apartment, everything was working properly. The host was amazong in answering all kind of questions and being like a guide throughout our journey

  Sehr gute Lage, man konnte mit dem Bus direkt zur Altstadt fahren, die Haltestelle ist gleich um die Ecke, Unterkunft war sehr sauber, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

  La ubicación era buena, pudimos aparcar nuestro coche en todo momento sin problemas, contaba con servicios como restaurantes y supermercados, relativamente cerca. El apartamento disponía de menaje adecuado para cubrir las necesidades de una familia sin problemas, espaciosa y cómoda. Buena comunicación con el anfitrión. Relación calidad-precio adecuada.
  
  What could be improved: Sugeriría poner una pequeña mesita en el jardín (sólo había 2 sillas). El sofá cama no era excesivamente cómodo. No supimos encender la televisión, aunque no supuso un gran problema. Había que andar un poco para llegar a la estación de tren, pero se podía aparcar el coche en las cercanías de la estación, y también había algún bus urbano que pasaba por la zona.

  Good communication via google translate, easy to access and leave property at the end of our stay. We asked for 2 extra pillows on arrival and they were delivered later that day
  
  What could be improved: Light bulb in kitchen area needs replacing, a kettle and a corkscrew would be useful.
