You know what really struck me about Casa Isabella? It’s one of those places that feels like you’ve stumbled onto something special that hasn’t been completely discovered yet. I mean, with an 8.9 rating, clearly other people know about it, but there’s still this intimate, almost residential vibe that larger hotels just can’t pull off.

The moment you walk in, you can tell someone actually cares about this place – and I don’t mean in that overly polished, corporate way. The details feel thoughtful rather than calculated, if that makes sense. The common areas have this lived-in elegance that reminds me more of staying at a well-traveled friend’s house than a typical hotel. There’s usually some soft music playing in the background, nothing intrusive, just enough to create atmosphere. Actually, the whole sound level here is perfect – you’re not dealing with echoing lobbies or hallways where every conversation carries three rooms down.

What I really appreciate is how the staff operates here. They’re attentive without being hovering, you know? Check-in was smooth and they seemed to genuinely remember guests’ names and preferences, which honestly surprised me. The housekeeping is thorough too – I noticed they pay attention to little things like how they arrange your belongings when they clean, rather than just shoving everything aside. The rooms themselves have character without feeling dated, though I will say the WiFi could be stronger in some spots (worked fine for emails and browsing, but if you’re planning to stream movies, test it first). Morning tends to be the quietest time throughout the property, which I loved since I’m usually up early anyway. By late afternoon, there’s more energy as people come and go, but it never feels chaotic or rushed like some places do during peak hours.

  Very quiet and discreet apartment literally two minutes from the centre of Verona (the Arena and Piazza Brà). My room was clean and beautifully decorated. Provision of coffee pods and Springwater was a very thoughtful touch. Great to have access to a kitchen with kettle and microwave. Also the pillows were of excellent quality, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I really appreciated Maddalena meeting me at the apartment to explain everything to me and hand me the keys, coordinating with me very well beforehand to check my arrival time.

  It is located right in the city centre, next to the arena in Piazza Bra. Perfect location as it is within walking distance to all attractions in Verona. The apartment is very nice, clean and the bed is very comfortable! The owner is super friendly and welcoming. She gave us great tips on what to do, where to go, and the best local restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we strongly recommend it ❤️
