Casa Letizia all’Arena – Parcheggio e Supermercato Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Casa Letizia all’Arena – Parcheggio e Supermercato feels like discovering a well-kept secret right in the heart of Verona. The name pretty much tells you everything — you’re getting a place with parking (which, trust me, is gold in this city) and there’s actually a supermarket nearby. It’s one of those four-star properties that doesn’t try to be flashy but gets all the important stuff absolutely right. The location on Piazza Cittadella puts you smack in the middle of everything, and I mean everything — you can practically roll out of bed and be at the Arena di Verona in minutes.
The Heart of Verona
Honestly, the location score of 9.9 isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s earned. You’re in the historical center where couples consistently rate it a perfect 10, and after spending time here, I get why. The cobblestone streets branch out from your doorstep like spokes on a wheel, leading to all those postcard-perfect spots you came to see. What I love is that you’re close enough to walk everywhere but tucked away on a quieter piazza, so you’re not dealing with the constant tourist chaos that hits some of the main drags. The supermarket proximity is actually brilliant — you can grab fresh Italian ingredients or just stock up on water bottles without trekking across town.
The Room Experience
The room itself strikes that perfect balance between authentic Italian charm and modern comfort. You know what impressed me most? The attention to practical details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi works properly, the shower has decent pressure, and there’s enough storage space for your stuff — sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places miss these fundamentals. The decor feels genuinely Italian without being over-the-top themed, if that makes sense. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and depending on your room, you might catch glimpses of the historic architecture that makes Verona so special.
Practical Perks
Let’s talk about that parking situation because it’s honestly a game-changer. Finding a spot in Verona’s historic center can be a nightmare, especially during opera season when the Arena is packed. Having guaranteed parking means you can actually explore the Veneto region by car — Lake Garda is right there, and the wine regions are incredibly accessible. The staff seems to understand that travelers need real information, not just tourist brochures. They’ll point you toward the best local spots and actually know the neighborhood well enough to give useful directions.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.3 rating reflects what happens when a property focuses on doing the essentials exceptionally well rather than trying to be everything to everyone. Couples especially appreciate how the location lets them experience Verona like locals — morning coffee at nearby cafés, evening aperitivo within walking distance, and easy access to both the must-see sights and the quieter corners where real Italian life happens. It’s the kind of place where you feel settled rather than just passing through, which is exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city as romantic and layered as Verona.
To book hotel in Verona during the famous opera season at Arena di Verona, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts romance seekers and culture enthusiasts from around the world.

The place is PERFECT.
The best experience ever with booking. It’s a brand new decorated 2 bedrooms apartment near the Arena.
We were arriving from Rome and Florence (very tired) and the 2 days stay in Verona (at Casa Letizia) was a bless. It is Quiet place, with air conditioning and all the facilities that we need ( you will feel at home)
And it is Quite near the the Verona Arena and the city center.
There is a supermarket in the same block. If you like to cook this is your chance to take advantage of the Italian marvelous food and prepare s risoto or a pasta.
The apartment is beautifully decorated with racing cars. The books available are unique.
It’s such an experience
I’ll be back to the Casa de Letizia dell’Arena as soon as possible.

Our stay was wonderful. It was the perfect location to explore Verona and easy access to the train station. The apartment was plenty big enough for our family of 5 and very clean with complimentary water bottles and coffee. Marco met us to show us through the apartment and was extremely helpful and gave us detailed information on the city and advice on an itinerary for our stay. I highly recommend this apartment.
What could be improved: The only thing we didn’t like was very little hot water for all 5 to shower.
