I stayed in one facing the courtyard, and it was blissfully quiet at night – no blaring traffic from the nearby A4 highway, though you might hear the occasional scooter zipping by during rush hour. Breakfast was a highlight, too: nothing extravagant, but fresh croissants, cappuccinos made just right, and those little jars of homemade jam that taste like they came straight from a nonna’s kitchen. Oh, and if you’re into exploring off the beaten path, Borgo Roma’s got this underrated vibe – wander over to the Fiera di Verona for events if you’re timing it right (it’s literally a stone’s throw), or grab dinner at Trattoria al Pompiere nearby, where the bigoli pasta is hearty and the portions are generous. One minor gripe? The Wi-Fi can be spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, who needs it when you’ve got Verona’s sunsets to chase?

All in all, if you’re looking for a solid, no-drama base in Verona that punches way above its three-star weight – that 9.4 rating isn’t hype, it’s earned – Casa Lorenzo is your spot. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve got an insider’s edge on the city, saving you euros on overpriced centro hotels while still letting you dive into the romance of it all. I left feeling refreshed, with a few extra tips scribbled in my notebook, and yeah, I’d book it again in a heartbeat – especially in shoulder season like May, when the neighborhood blooms with wisteria and the crowds haven’t fully descended yet.

  Tutto eccellente. Zona tranquilla. Stanza molto silenziosa, letto comodo, arredamento nuovo e moderno. A pochi minuti a piedi la fermata del bus per raggiungere il centro. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

  The owner and his daughter is very helpful. I was late to arrive and they waited until I arrive. communication is excellent. The room is very clean and well equipped. Also parking is available in the premises which is very handy.

  A very pleasant, clean and modern studio with a spacious bathroom and a kitchenette where you can prepare breakfast or a small meal. The location is quiet and safe, a bit far from the city centre but there are 2 bus lines that take you there in 15-20 minutes (they only operate till 9 pm, though). We really appreciated the private gated parking lot and the AC. There's also a small terrace but when we visited it was too hot to sit outside. The check-in and the communication beforehand were smooth, the staff very friendly.

  Decent hotel for a night stay. We stopped in Verona on our way to Milan. Room was well maintained with good facilities in a quiet residential area. A/C worked really well. We were greeted at check in and given clear instructions. Supermarket and bus stops are nearby.

  Great location if you attend Fiera Verona. Supermarket across the street to buy your breakfast. Restaurant with delicious italian cuisine around the corner. All you need for shortterm visit of Verona.
