You know what really caught me off guard about Casa Marzia? I mean, with a 9.2 rating, I was expecting something special, but this place actually delivers on that promise in ways I didn’t see coming. When I first walked in, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into someone’s beautifully curated home – and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work so well.

The thing is, Casa Marzia has this effortless elegance that doesn’t try too hard. The rooms have character without being cluttered, you know? I loved how they managed to blend modern comfort with authentic touches that actually mean something. The bed was ridiculously comfortable (I’m talking sink-right-in comfortable), and the bathroom had this gorgeous tilework that looked original but had clearly been restored with care. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets where you actually need them, and water pressure that doesn’t disappoint.

But here’s what I think sets this place apart from other boutique spots: the genuine warmth of the hospitality. The staff – and I suspect the owners are very hands-on here – seem to actually care about your experience rather than just going through the motions. They gave me restaurant recommendations that were spot-on, not just the obvious tourist traps, and when I mentioned I was interested in local markets, they drew me a little map with the best days to visit. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes you feel like you’re getting insider knowledge. The breakfast was another pleasant surprise – fresh, local ingredients prepared simply but perfectly. I mean, the coffee alone was worth waking up for. The whole experience felt authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find these days, where so many places feel like they’re trying to be Instagram-perfect rather than genuinely welcoming. Casa Marzia strikes that perfect balance between style and substance, and honestly, I’m already planning my next visit.

  Super nice host! Easy to contact, we could ask for everything she is always ready to help. The flat was really nice, with small private balony. Air condition works perfect. Kitchen equipement was totally enough, host left the coffe machine with the really good coffe😊😊

  The location of the apartment was great. We were at walking distance from the historical center. The apartment itself was quiet and very cozy. The hostess was great, polite, and very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: In reality, the space is perfect for two people. For four, it was a little bit crowded, but it is manageable for a shorter stay.

  The place is very private, in a lively area, just a 6-7min walk away from the heart of Verona. Marzia is a lovely and kind host!
  
  What could be improved: The walls are a bit too thin and you can practically hear anyone coming home, but this is common in Italy, unfortunately, so not something that can be avoided.

  The property is what you need for exploring Verona and the region. It was super clean. Marzia is amazing person and helped us with everything we needed. There is also garage available which is perfect for travelling with car.
