You know what really struck me about Casa Mia? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not – and honestly, that’s exactly why it works so well. When I first walked in, I was expecting your typical three-star setup, maybe a bit tired around the edges, but this place has character that you just don’t find in those cookie-cutter chain hotels.

The staff here actually remembers your name after the first day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re traveling. I mean, the woman at the front desk knew I preferred my coffee black by day three and had it ready before I even asked. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works properly (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The beds are surprisingly good quality for a mid-range place, and the bathrooms are spotless. I will say the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, pack some earplugs, but it wasn’t anything terrible.

What really sets Casa Mia apart though is how it feels like staying with family – hence the name, I suppose. The common areas have this lived-in warmth that makes you want to linger over breakfast instead of rushing out. Speaking of breakfast, they do this amazing local spread that changes slightly each day, and the owner (or maybe the manager, I’m not entirely sure) often stops by tables to chat about the area. He gave me directions to this little family-run restaurant that ended up being one of the best meals of my trip – the kind of insider knowledge you just can’t get from guidebooks. The whole place runs with that kind of personal touch that’s becoming harder to find these days. With ratings consistently hovering around 8.9 out of 10, other guests clearly feel the same way I do about this gem of a spot. It’s not luxury, but it’s genuine hospitality done right.

  Es gibt Frühstück, was bei diesem Preis wirklich sehr toll ist, die Wohnung ist sauber und top ausgestattet. Bei jeglichen Fragen kann man sich gerne an die Gastgeber wenden und es wird alles getan um zu helfen!
