Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first stumbled upon Casa Palladio 29 – the name itself had me curious, and you know what, it delivered in ways I didn’t anticipate. There’s something genuinely charming about this place that hits you the moment you walk through the doors. It’s got this understated elegance that feels authentic rather than trying too hard, if that makes sense. The kind of spot where you can tell someone actually cared about the details when they put it together.

What really struck me was how the place manages to feel both intimate and spacious at the same time. I mean, you’re not dealing with some massive hotel lobby where you feel like a number, but you’re also not cramped into some tiny space either. The rooms have this lovely lived-in quality – and I say that in the best possible way. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen, from the way the light hits in the morning to the little touches that make you realize someone who knows hospitality was behind the design. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong), and the bathrooms have that perfect water pressure that makes you want to linger in the shower just a bit longer.

I have to say, the 8.0 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent some time here. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but it absolutely nails the fundamentals that matter when you’re traveling. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing – not in that rehearsed, corporate way, but like they actually want you to have a good experience. Check-in was smooth, they were helpful with recommendations without being pushy, and honestly, those little interactions can make or break a stay. The whole vibe is just… comfortable, I guess. You settle in quickly and start feeling like you belong there rather than just passing through. It’s the sort of place where you find yourself making mental notes to come back, maybe stay a bit longer next time, because there’s clearly more to discover than you can absorb in just one visit.

  Arianna, the host is very responsive. She answered inquiries immediately. The check-in instructions were very clear. The property was meticulously cleaned and well equipped. There was everything I needed. It is in a walking distance to the train station. The area is quite and safe.

  What could be improved: Air conditioner’s capacity is not appropriate according to size of the apartment. It took a very long time to maintain the temperature as it was very hot outside.

  Air conditioning which was definitely needed and welcoming. The location was great for the train station and you could easily walk into the centre of Verona. Bed was very comfortable and there was all the amenities you might need. Communication was great.

  Casa Palladio has all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. The self check-in process was seamless. A lovely balcony to enjoy breakfast awaited me, the garden view was a treat, an airconditioner to fight the surging temperatures and a dreamy bed to nap after a day of travelling. The apartment is trendy and tidy, and the host was kind enough to leave a welcome basket filled with goodies. Arianna is communicative and ready to answer any questions. There are a couple of coffee shops and stores/grocers located within walking distance. Fresco Mio being my favorite with a selection of ready made meals to quickly heat and eat upon arrival. The town itself with it's famed Arena and Juliet's house is about a twenty-three minute (direct) walk from the apartment building. You can cover all the must-see attraction by foot, nap, and do it all over again.
  
  What could be improved: This is not aimed at the property at all. However I have to mention I had to cut my stay short due to safety concerns. As a solo female traveler I am cautious and select my locations with care. Unfortunately, while Casa Palladio provides all the needed amenities it would be irresponsible of me to say that it is safe for women who wish to walk around alone during the day and night. The host agreed that precautions should be taken and that it would be useful to carry some deterrent.
  If you're a couple or booking as a group, this apartment would be ideal. However, if you're a solo female I'd suggest a location in the centre of the town where you can easily navigate the area OR make use of registered taxis.

  The host responded quickly to queries and was very helpful. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of the train station as well as all the sights. Public transport is right outside.

  The room was superb! Nice, sunny, with a balcony. Good location. The kitchen is equipped with any utensil you can think of. The accomodation was also equipped with additional blankets, in case you are cold during night.

  – Good communication with the landlady, Arianna, who is nice & helpful.
  – Short walk to Old Town and there are some grocery stores & supermarkets on the way.
  – Fully equipped kitchen
  – Big underground lockable garage, with lift direct to apartment on 3rd floor.
