I mean, Verona’s Arena is just a 15-minute walk away, but staying here means you avoid the tourist mobs around Piazza delle Erbe – well, most of the time, anyway. Parking was a bit of a squeeze; I ended up circling the block twice before snagging a spot nearby (pro tip: arrive before dinner rush if you’re driving), but once I checked in, the staff – this friendly couple who seemed to know everyone in the neighborhood – handed me a room key with a smile and a recommendation for the best gelato spot down on Via San Zeno.   A beautiful apartment in an excellent, quiet location – across the street from the San Zeno neighborhood where you can eat or drink something in the square full of bars/restaurants and a 10-minute walk from the Verona Arena! Our friendly host Lucia gave us clear instructions for easy key collection and apartment entry as well as a tip for free parking in the immediate vicinity.

  La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e super disponibile! La casa era pulita e aveva tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole e a due passi c'è una piazza piena di locali dove poter mangiare o bere qualcosa!
