The rooms aren’t huge – this is Italy, after all, where space is premium – but they’re thoughtfully arranged with decent storage and surprisingly good water pressure in the shower (trust me, that’s not always guaranteed in older European buildings). The walls are thick enough that you won’t hear every conversation from next door, though you might catch some street sounds if you’re facing the main road – honestly though, I kind of loved falling asleep to the distant sound of Vespa scooters puttering by. The breakfast spread won’t blow your mind, but they do proper Italian coffee and fresh pastries, plus the woman who runs the breakfast room makes this incredible homemade jam that I’m still thinking about months later. She actually gave me the recipe when I asked, which tells you something about the kind of place this is. The location puts you within walking distance of most major sights without being right in the tourist chaos – you can actually get a decent night’s sleep and still reach Juliet’s balcony in about ten minutes on foot. For the price point and the genuine warmth of the experience, Casa Verona delivers exactly what you want from a smaller Italian hotel: comfort, character, and that feeling like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked another room.

  The apartment is wonderful. Fully equipped, there is everything you need for the perfect vacation. The city center is on 20-25 min by walk but if you don't want to walk there is a bus station in front of the apartment. Stefano is always around to help with everything, Stefano is bravo ragazzo 🙂

  Specially, host was very cooperative and always ready to help. Very prompt in responding to all the questions.

  What could be improved: Beds need urgent upgrade, singles are a torture, double – way too soft. Take earplugs unless you sleep like a soldier – busy street with a crossroad.
