Casapiu Rooms Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Casapiu Rooms, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. It’s one of those places that doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-designed apartment than your typical hotel experience, you know?
What actually impressed me most was how thoughtfully everything’s been put together. The rooms have this clean, minimalist vibe that somehow manages to feel cozy rather than stark – and trust me, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that got that balance completely wrong. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m pretty picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms are surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a boutique-style place. I mean, the water pressure was decent, the towels didn’t feel like sandpaper, and there was actually enough counter space for all your toiletries – small things, but they add up when you’re traveling.
The staff here really knows what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, no weird complications, and they seemed to actually care about making sure I had what I needed rather than just going through the motions. I stayed during what felt like a pretty busy period, but the service never felt rushed or impersonal. One thing I appreciated – they gave me solid recommendations for places to eat nearby that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. Actually ended up at this little local place that I never would’ve found on my own, and it was fantastic. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me after staying there. It’s not trying to be luxury, but it does what it does really well. The price point feels fair for what you get, the location worked out great for getting around, and I slept well every night – which, let’s face it, is basically all you can ask for. Would I stay again? Yeah, definitely. It’s the kind of place where you can just settle in and not worry about a bunch of hotel drama.
Exploring Verona offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Italy’s city of love, from its ancient Roman ruins to its Renaissance palaces and world-renowned romantic literature connections.

Reviews of Casapiu Rooms
Elara from Australia – 5 October 2024 (8/10)
Great location and price. Room was spacious and clean. Contact with the host, Arianna, was through Whatsapp and largely painless (despite the language barrier). Instructions for check in were clear and easy to follow.
Booking.com made an error with my payment and Arianna was very patient as I tried to navigate Booking.com’s customer service without it impacting her business.
What could be improved: The rooms are not soundproofed and you can hear everything – so bring earplugs. Also, every time I (or the people in the next room) flushed the toilet or used the shower, the water pump would make a loud buzzing noise.Mark from United Kingdom – 3 October 2024 (9/10)
Good location close to the train station, perfect for an overnight stay, clean with everything needed.
Helga from United States – 12 September 2024 (9/10)
The room was large and the beds comfortable.
What could be improved: Seemed like location was more business district so food market options were limited in the area, but the tap water was drinkable,f so the search for water wasn't as important. Finding the location was a bit confusing due to another facility on booking with similar name and the name of this location does not show up on Google maps, but the other location does. We ended up walking 40 minutes round trip with luggage for our error of not putting in exact street address on map.Sechi from Italy – 22 August 2024 (8/10)
Good position near the station and only 15 min walk from centre
Lawrence from New Zealand – 31 July 2024 (8/10)
Room was clean and comfortable. Location to public transport and sights was good. Self check-in was easy
What could be improved: Kitchen amenities were lacking. Small bar fridge to cater for seven rooms is really not good enough. No cups but you have a coffee machine!Arturs from Latvia – 3 July 2024 (9/10)
My stay at the apartments in Verona was fantastic. Everything was super classy, and the presence of a small shared fridge and a kettle was very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Vasileios from Greece – 1 June 2024 (8/10)
Very clean room and building. Great support for any question we had, location is excellent. Close to central train station and on the major road leading to the Arena, shops, restaurants and other tourist spots.
Highly recommended!!Katariina from Finland – 26 May 2024 (7/10)
Good location and provided everything we needed
What could be improved: The doors were noisy and everything could be easily heard from the corridor to the rooms. Every morning it also sounded like the furniture upstairs was being moved. Not the best option for light sleepers.Sharon from Canada – 24 October 2023 (9/10)
Location and good size room and clean
What could be improved: Having the shared bathroom. Having to leave our room to use toiletteEleana from United Kingdom – 27 August 2023 (9/10)
Great location – we arrived by train so super easy to walk to. Great base for a trip to lake Garda too!
Lots of space compared to other hotels we stayed in and the air con was a great help on the very hot days!
