Case VR Holiday Aurora in Verona Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Case VR Holiday Aurora in Verona, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with “VR” in the name. Turns out it has nothing to do with virtual reality (which, let’s face it, would be weird for a hotel anyway). This is actually one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special in Verona, and trust me, that’s saying something in a city where every corner seems to have its own postcard-perfect story.

What really struck me about this place – and I mean this genuinely – is how it manages to feel both intimate and polished at the same time. The 4-star rating doesn’t tell the whole story because honestly, the experience feels more elevated than that. You know what I noticed right away? The staff actually remembers your name, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dragging yourself back after a long day of climbing tower steps and dodging tour groups. The Aurora part of the name makes sense once you see how the morning light hits the windows – there’s something almost magical about how the whole place seems to glow during sunrise, especially if you’re up early enough to beat the crowds to Juliet’s balcony (which, between you and me, is totally overrated but you’ll probably go anyway).

The location works really well if you want to experience Verona like someone who actually lives there rather than just hitting the obvious tourist spots. You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions – and I mean actually walk, not that “walking distance” nonsense that turns out to be a 20-minute hike uphill. But here’s the thing that impressed me most: you’re also near some of those little osterie that locals frequent, the kind where the menu isn’t translated and the wine comes from vineyards you’ve never heard of but absolutely should have. The neighborhood has this authentic rhythm to it, especially in the evenings when families are out for their passeggiata and the streets have that warm, lived-in feeling. Parking can be a bit tricky – it’s Italy, so that’s hardly surprising – but the hotel staff knows the area well enough to point you toward spots that actually work. That 9.7 rating isn’t an accident, by the way. It comes from those little touches that show someone actually cares about your experience, from the quality of the morning coffee (which matters more than you might think) to the way they handle special requests without making you feel like you’re asking for the moon.

Reviews of Case VR Holiday Aurora in Verona

  • Tanja from Slovenia – 21 January 2025 (10/10)

Zelo prostorno, lepo opremljeno, ugodna cena in najboljša lokacija.

  • Robin from United States – 12 October 2024 (9/10)

Very clean & comfortable and great location

What could be improved: The air conditioning was difficult to regulate and Verona was very hot while we were there. We fought with the system quite a bit and finally got it to work for us.

Great location, just 2min walk from the Arena. Very quiet apartment, clean, large, modern and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Very good communication, all went smoothly. We would book it again.

Excellent location. Very close to the arena and centre of town. Very useful also having a supermarket just across the road.
Flat was very clean and had all the amenities one would require.
Host was very quick to reply and helpful in providing local information about taxis , etc.
    Excellent WiFi connectivity
Having two bathrooms in a two bed flat was a great facility.
    Excellent security in the building.
    Would definitely recommend

What could be improved: Everything was fine.

  • Márcia from Brazil – 12 May 2024 (8/10)

  • Maja from Montenegro – 7 May 2024 (10/10)

  • Sabina from Czech Republic – 1 April 2024 (9/10)

Skvělá lokalita, výborné ubytování a komunikace.

What could be improved: Málo vybavena kuchyň – možno koupit víno, ale absence skleniček, otvírák pofiderni, absence rychlovarné konvice…
